    • Goes deep in victory
Freeman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run Thursday in a 5-3 win against Colorado.

Advice: Freeman accounted for the Dodgers' final run of the contest with his fourth-inning solo shot to center field. The veteran first baseman is up to 11 long balls on the season, with five of them coming in June. Freeman has added to his standout month with a .354 average, 12 RBI, 17 runs, two stolen bases and a 14:10 BB:K through 18 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:22 pm
    • Notches eighth victory
Stone (8-2) earned the win over Colorado on Thursday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Stone performed well in the Colorado altitude, as none of the four hits against him went for extra bases. The right-hander was working on a shutout through five frames but fell off in the sixth inning, loading the bases with one out on a pair of walks and a single before getting the hook. Two of those three runners scored after his departure, but that didn't prevent Stone from registering the win. The 25-year-old has become a key part of Los Angeles' rotation in his first full MLB campaign, leading the team with eight victories while posting a 3.04 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 63:25 K:BB over 80 innings. • Blows save, earns win
Fairbanks (2-3) earned the win Thursday, allowing one run on two hits over two innings against the Twins. He struck out one.

Advice: Fairbanks was not needed to start the ninth due to the Rays holding a four-run lead, but a leadoff homer followed by the next two runners reaching base necessitated the call to Fairbanks. After inducing a couple of quick outs, Jose Miranda tagged him for a two-out game-tying homer that sent the game to extras. Once the Rays regained the lead in the 10th, Fairbanks stayed on to close out his own victory. The blown save was the second of the season for Fairbanks, who ran the gamut during the series with the Twins, suffering the loss on Tuesday followed by the blown save and subsequent win on Thursday. • Another multi-hit game
Mullins went 2-for-6 with a double, a two-run homer and three runs scored in Thursday's win over the Yankees.

Advice: Mullins capitalized on a hanging slider from Luis Gil in the top of the second and sent it into the stands in right field for a two-run shot, giving the Orioles an early 3-1 lead. The outfielder would then add a double in the ninth before coming around to score for a third time, giving him back-to-back multi-hit games. Mullins has also scored multiple runs in two straight contests, while Thursday's home run marked his first long ball since April 26 against the Athletics. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:09 pm

    • Sitting Thursday
Chourio isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Thursday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Chourio will take a seat Thursday after going 4-for-16 with five RBI and two runs scored over his last five games. While he sits, Christian Yelich, Blake Perkins and Sal Frelick will start in the outfield with Rhys Hoskins in as the DH, opening up first base for Tyler Black. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:55 pm
    • Stone gives up two runs in win over Rockies
Gavin Stone allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings and got the win in the Dodgers’ 5-3 victory over the Rockies on Thursday.

Advice: Stone gave up four hits, walked two and struck out seven. Both runs came on a Jake Cave two-run single in the sixth inning. The win was Stone’s eighth of the year and he’s now won four of his last five starts. He’s also struck out at least six batters in four of his last five starts. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the White Sox on the road next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:53 pm
    • Pete Fairbanks (thumb) blows save, gets victory
Pete Fairbanks (thumb) blew a save while allowing a run against the Twins on Thursday, but worked two innings to get the victory.

Advice: Fairbanks entered the game with a couple of runners on and Tampa Bay holding a 6-3 cushion. He was able to get the first two outs, but then gave up a game-tying homer to Jose Miranda to blow the save. He was able to get the final three outs after the Rays scored in the 10th, however, so he gets the win. The right-hander missed a couple of days while dealing with a thumb injury, so the positive is he was back on the mound and does at least get a win. Fairbanks is still likely to see save chances going forward even with a fair share of clunkers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm
    • Thairo Estrada not in the lineup on Thursday
Thairo Estrada is not in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Cardinals.

Advice: It appears to be a routine day off for Estrada, who was involved in a minor collision at first base yesterday but remained in the game. The 28-year-old has not been having a great season, hitting .240 with just one steal in 71 games. He’s also hitting .211 with 13 strikeouts over 14 games in June, so things haven’t been ticking up of late either. The Giants will move Brett Wisely to second base and start Nick Ahmed at shortstop. • Taking seat Thursday
Estrada is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Cardinals.

Advice: The Giants are giving Brett Wisely a start at second base and Nick Ahmed will be his double-play partner at shortstop. It seems to be a routine day off for Estrada, who had started each of the previous 14 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:30 pm
