    • No decision yet on rehab start
The Rangers have yet to decide whether Eovaldi (groin) will require a minor-league rehab assignment before being activated from the 15-day injured list, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Eovaldi has been on the shelf since May 3 with a strained right groin. Though Eovaldi didn't return from the IL in the minimum 15 days like manager Bruce Bochy had initially suggested could be the case, the veteran right-hander might be able to avoid a rehab assignment prior to being activated. He traveled with the Rangers this weekend and threw a bullpen session Friday at Target Field, and he'll presumably be reassessed when the team returns to Arlington ahead of its two-game home series versus the Diamondbacks that begins Tuesday. • Kyle Tucker homers in win over A’s
Kyle Tucker went 1-for-4 with a walk and home run in a 5-2 win over the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Another day, another Tucker home run. The 27-year-old hit a 403-foot shot off Aaron Brooks that left the bat at 105 mph. It was Tucker’s 18th of the season and he’s now up to 39 RBI to go along with a .280 average. He’s looking like one of the best first-round picks for this year’s fantasy baseball season. • Allows walk-off home run
Romano (1-2) suffered the loss to the Tigers on Sunday, yielding three earned runs on two hits and one walk in two-thirds of an inning.

Advice: Romano was called upon to preserve an 11-11 tie in the bottom of the ninth inning. He allowed a leadoff single and an intentional walk before surrendering a walk-off three-run home run to Matt Vierling. The 31-year-old's ERA is now up to 6.39, although he is 7-for-8 in save chances through 15.1 innings this season, and he's allowed at least one run in six of 14 outings this season. • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) to undergo MRI on Monday
Jorge Polanco will undergo an MRI exam on his injured left hamstring on Monday.

Advice: Mariners’ manager Scott Servais told reporters after Sunday’s game that the club will have a better idea on his availability after that exam. The Mariners would probably be best served putting him on the injured list this time around and giving him the proper time to heal, but that’s not the path that they took while allowing him to sit out most of last week on a day-to-day basis. Expect the M’s to provide more information after Monday’s exam. Rotoworld Today, 2:56 pm

    • Jorge Polanco leaves with hamstring tightness
Jorge Polanco left Sunday’s game against the Nationals with left hamstring tightness.

Advice: Polanco was replaced by Josh Rojas with Rojas moving to third and Dylan Moore taking over at second. It’s been a recurring issue for Polanco in 2024 and throughout his career. An update on his availability should be available before Monday’s game against Houston in Seattle. Rotoworld Today, 12:40 pm

    • Leaves game with hamstring injury
Polanco left Sunday's game against the Nationals due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: It's unclear when Polanco sustained the injury, but Josh Rojas came in at third base in the bottom of the sixth inning while Dylan Moore shifted to second base. Polanco missed seven games in May due to a right hamstring issue, and he is set to have an MRI on Monday, per Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM. Before leaving Sunday's game, Polanco went 1-for-2 with an RBI on an infielder's choice in the second inning. Rotowire.com Today, 12:30 pm

    • Jordan Romano gives up three-run homer in loss
Jordan Romano gave up a three-run homer to Matt Vierling with two outs in the ninth to take a loss Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: Romano came into a tie game in the bottom of the ninth, so one run would have ended this. Romano, though, wanted to make it special. The Jays busted out offensively for one of the few times this year, only to lose 14-11. Romano is still 7-for-8 saving games and isn’t in any danger of losing his job, even if Yimi García has looked far better this season. Of course, García also had his first big misstep today, giving up two runs in the eighth to take a blown save. Rotoworld Today, 12:27 pm
    • Jorge Polanco leaves with possible injury
Jorge Polanco left Sunday’s game against the Nationals with a possible injury.

Advice: Polanco has battled hamstring issues as of late — and throughout his career, essentially — and he was removed in favor of Josh Rojas with Dylan Moore moving to second base. There should be an update on Polanco’s status shortly. Rotoworld Today, 11:59 am

    • Getting Sunday off
Jeffers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Jeffers will get a breather for the day game after he caught all nine innings of Saturday's 5-3 win while going 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and an RBI. Christian Vazquez draws the starting nod behind the dish. Rotowire.com Today, 11:14 am
