    • Seven-game RBI streak
Diaz went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Mariners.

Advice: Diaz led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run, continuing his excellent run of recent production. He has gone deep three times in his last six starts and also has at least one RBI in seven straight games. Diaz also extended his hitting streak to 18 games, during which he's hit .358. • Lifts three-run homer
Jeffers went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Jeffers' seventh-inning blast briefly tied the game at 4-4 before the Diamondbacks took the lead back a half-inning later. The catcher opened June 0-for-17, but he's hit safely in seven of his last eight games, going 8-for-31 (.258) in that span. He's up to a .236/.323/.482 slash line with 13 home runs, 41 RBI, 30 runs scored and two stolen bases over 255 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:17 pm
    • Tuesday's start postponed
Gibson and the Cardinals won't face Atlanta on Tuesday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Tuesday's game will be made up via a doubleheader Wednesday, and Gibson will take the mound for Game 1. The 36-year-old righty threw seven scoreless innings during his most recent start, though back tightness caused him to miss his last turn through the rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:37 pm
    • Braves vs. Cardinals postponed Tuesday due to rain
Tuesday’s game between the Braves and Cardinals was postponed due to inclement weather.

Advice: This one went into a preemptive rain delay prior to first pitch at Busch Stadium and it actually wound up staying pretty dry for a few hours before heavier showers rolled into the area. Odds are they probably could’ve gotten this one in if they had started on time. Instead, it’ll be made up on Wednesday as a doubleheader. Tuesday’s original scheduled starters -- Reynaldo López and Kyle Gibson -- will presumably take the ball at some point during Wednesday’s twin bill. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:17 pm
    • Jordan Romano (elbow) resumes playing catch
Jordan Romano (elbow) has resumed playing catch.

Advice: It qualifies as a step in the right direction that Romano was able to resume throwing, albeit light catch, over the weekend, after being shut down last week due to renewed right elbow soreness. The 31-year-old veteran stopper is going to have to build up his throwing program basically from scratch again and is probably going to be out through the upcoming All-Star break. • Kyle Tucker (shin) ‘close’ to resuming running
Kyle Tucker (shin) progressed to taking swings on Sunday and could resume running within the next few days.

Advice: The revelation comes courtesy of a team statement. It’s a welcome relief for fantasy managers as we were honestly starting to wonder whether Tucker was dealing with something more serious than merely a shin contusion. He’ll need at least a couple minor league rehab contests to get back up to speed after he’s ready to get back into game action, but it doesn’t sound like he’s too far away from making it back to Houston. • Takes swings, could run soon
Tucker (shin) took swings off a tee Sunday and could be cleared to begin running soon, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Tucker's recovery from a right shin contusion has dragged on longer than anticipated, but it looks like he's finally turned a corner as he resumes baseball activities. He's more than three weeks removed from suffering the injury and still has some hoops to jump through, so he could require a rehab assignment before rejoining the Astros' active roster. • Getting day off
Arozarena is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Arozarena will get his first true day off of June on Tuesday, with Josh Lowe filling in at DH while Jonny DeLuca plays left field. Arozarena has generated a hit in nine of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:34 pm
    • Lifts homer Monday
Renfroe went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 4-1 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Renfroe's blast was his first in three games since he returned from a minimal stay on the injured list with a bruised toe. The outfielder has gone 8-for-25 (.320) in June, adding three homers and seven RBI across nine contests. While he's slashing just .198/.279/.373 on the year, his bat has started to come around, offering him a bit of security in a starting role in right field. Renfroe has added seven homers 27 RBI, 23 runs scored, 10 doubles and one stolen base over 197 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:57 am
