    • Powers offense in win
Seager went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Seager missed nearly a week due to left hamstring soreness, and he played in a non-defensive capacity as the designated hitter Wednesday. He delivered the biggest hit of the game, a fifth-inning blast that accounted for all of the Rangers' runs. Prior to his absence, Seager had hit safely in 17 of his previous 18 games, batting .354 and slugging .800 in that span. He's up to a .271/.362/.484 slash line with 14 homers, 33 RBI, 30 runs scored and no stolen bases through 58 contests overall. Getting Seager's bat back in the lineup is a big boost to a Texas offense that has been limited to three runs or fewer in six of 10 games in June. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:58 pm
    • Corey Seager homers in return to lineup Wednesday
Corey Seager with 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk to power the Rangers to a 3-2 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Seager made his return to the lineup on Wednesday, hitting second as the designated hitter. With two runners on base in the fifth inning, he put the Rangers on the board with a three-run blast off Walker Buehler to give Texas the lead. The three runs would be all the Rangers needed to pick up the win over Los Angeles. The 30-year-old shortstop is slashing .271/.362/.484 with 14 homers and 33 RBI across 254 plate appearances. • Struggles early in no-decision
Pivetta did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Phillies, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

Advice: It was a rough night from the start, as Pivetta allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base and surrendered two runs in each of the first and third innings. The four walks were a season high, and he allowed at least one baserunner in every inning. Pivetta has been inconsistent this season, with six starts of two or fewer earned runs and three starts yielding five. On the season, Pivetta owns a 3.88 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 55:13 K:BB in nine starts and lines up against the Blue Jays next Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:59 pm

    • Nick Pivetta yanked after four versus former team
Nick Pivetta surrendered four runs in four innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Phillies.

Advice: Pivetta walked four tonight. He’s issued 11 free passes in his last four starts after totaling two in his first five. Pivetta also struck out four tonight. Oddly enough, his nine starts this season have seen him strike out at least eight on five occasions and no more than four the rest of the time. He’s 3-4 with a 3.88 ERA. • Homers twice in win
Candelario went 3-for-4 with two home runs and 4 RBI in a 4-2 win over the Guardians on Wednesday.

Advice: Candelario hit a solo home run off Tanner Bibee in the first inning, followed it up with a three-run homer off Bibee to give the Reds a 4-2 lead in the sixth then added a single in the eighth. Candelario has been mashing in June, hitting .340 with five homers and 11 RBI through 11 contests. While Candelario's .243 season average still isn't great, he now has 11 home runs and 31 RBI in 248 plate appearances and is hitting in the heart of a hot Reds lineup. • Jazz Chisholm Jr. has two hits in loss to Mets
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 and drove in a run on Wednesday night as the Marlins fell to the Mets at Citi Field.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old smacked a run-scoring single off of David Peterson in the fifth inning that pulled the Marlins to within a run at 5-4. That would wind up being the extent of their scoring in the contest. With his two-hit effort, Chisholm is now hitting .250/.318/.425 to go along with nine homers, 32 RBI and 12 stolen bases. • Strikes out six in no-decision
Civale did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Cubs, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with six strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Civale loaded the bases in the first inning but got out of the jam and pitched well other than a solo home run by Seiya Suzuki in the fourth inning. Civale left the game an out shy of a quality start with a 2-1 lead, but a Cody Bellinger three-run homer in the seventh prevented him from earning his first win since April 9. On the season, Civale now owns a 5.20 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 74:20 K:BB in 14 starts and lines up to start next Tuesday against the Twins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:45 pm
    • Aaron Civale holds Cubs to one run in no-decision
Aaron Civale held the Cubs to one run over 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision Wednesday.

Advice: Civale, who struck out six, left with a one-run lead, but it was quickly blown in the seventh. It’s not exactly true, but it does feel like Rays starters have about five wins between them this year. Civale has earned his losing record for the most part, but it’s kind of ridiculous that he hasn’t recorded a victory since Apr. 9. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm
    • Jeimer Candelario powers Reds past Guardians
Jeimer Candelario blasted a pair of homers and drove in four runs on Wednesday night, accounting for all of the Reds’ offense in a 4-2 victory over the Guardians.

Advice: The 30-year-old infielder opened the scoring in the contest with a 404-foot (104.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Tanner Bibee. He then put the Reds ahead to stay with a 343-foot (96.9 mph EV) three-run blast that chased Bibee from the game in the sixth inning. Candelario also singled in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4. On the season, he’s now slashing .243/.306/.476 with 11 homers and 31 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:08 pm
