      Advice: The 23-year-old jammed his shoulder on a diving play Friday and was scratched from Saturday's lineup, but he's back in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale in Cleveland.     • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. playing third base Sunday
      Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is playing third base and hitting third Sunday against the Pirates.

      Advice: It’s the first time Guerrero Jr. has drawn a start at third base since 2019. The 25-year-old has been working at the position during pregame festivities all season, but now he has a chance to man the hot corner for real. This will be interesting to watch, and it’d obviously be a major boon to his fantasy profile if he can get enough games at the position to qualify. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:49 am
       
    • Draws first start at 3B since 2019
      Guerrero will start at third base and bat third in Sunday's game against the Pirates.

      Advice: According to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Guerrero has been taking grounders at third base in workouts all season, but he was believed to be more of an emergency option at the position after he had seen the bulk of his starts at first base or designated hitter over the past four-plus seasons. Regular third baseman Isiah Kiner-Falefa is healthy, however, and will get the start at second base Sunday, so Guerrero's inclusion at the hot corner could signal that the Blue Jays may be willing to give him more regular work at the position moving forward. Guerrero will be starting at third base Sunday for the first time since Sept. 27, 2019, with all four innings that he's played at the position since then coming as a replacement for a starter during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.       Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: The first baseman continues to make consistent hard contact. Guerrero hasn't gone two straight games without a hit since late April, and over his last 30 contests he's slashing .368/.452/.479. He's still not providing the power expected of him and has just seven doubles and two homers during that stretch, and while he's in the 98th percentile in average exit velocity at 94.2 mph and in the 99th percentile in hard-hit rate this season, an average launch angle of 6.1 degrees -- down from 10.5 degrees last year -- is limiting his fantasy production.       Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

      Advice: Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list May 28.       Wyatt Langford drove in two runs in a victory over the Marlins for the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: Langford’s RBI came in garbage time, as he drove in a pair of runs to make it 7-0 in the ninth inning. Still counts.     • Fernando Tatis Jr. has three hits, HR in victory
      Fernando Tatis Jr. homered and went 3-for-4 in a 7-3 win for the Padres over the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: Tatis Jr. got the party started for the Padres with a solo homer in the first inning off Alec Marsh. The 25-year-old also singled twice and drew a walk for a four-reach day. Tatis hasn’t been spectacular in the first 60-plus games of the season, but he’s up to 10 homers, 30 RBI and six stolen bases with a .772 OPS.       Tatis went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 7-3 win over Kansas City.

      Advice: Tatis opened the scoring in the first inning with a 422-foot solo shot off Alec Marsh, his 10th homer of the season. The 25-year-old Tatis has at least one hit in his last seven games, going 11-for-29 (.379) in that span.       Jordan Westburg went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Westburg returned to the lineup after missing two games with a hand injury and looked just fine at the plate. He took Taj Bradley deep for a solo homer to lead off the second inning. He drove in a second run with a single in the third and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jorge Mateo.
