    Ty France went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

    Advice: France had a 98 mph single in the third inning and then followed that up with a 105 mph home run that traveled 427 feet in the fifth inning. It was his eighth home run on the season to go along with 29 RBI. France famously went to Driveline this offseason to try to find his power swing and while the results weren’t immediate, he had been showcasing improved power before going on the IL with a fractured heel.   • José Ramírez drills three-run homer to defeat O’s
    José Ramírez went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer on Tuesday, lifting the Guardians to a 10-8 win over the Orioles.

    Advice: Ramírez clobbered a three-run shot in the fourth inning to give Cleveland a commanding four-run advantage at the time. The 31-year-old fantasy star has gone deep three times over his last four games and is now up to 21 round-trippers this season already.     Shohei Ohtani went 0-for-3 with a walk and an RBI against the White Sox on Monday.

    Advice: It was a quiet game for the Dodgers offense against White Sox starter Garrett Crochet. Ohtani hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to give Los Angeles a 3-0 lead. It was his 58th RBI on the season. He trails only Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna for the National League lead in RBI. Ohtani is hitting .318 with a 1.021 OPS on the season.     Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a stolen base and one additional RBI in Monday's 3-2 win over Baltimore.

    Advice: Ramirez opened the scoring in the first inning with an RBI-single before launching his 20th home run of the season off Orioles starter Cade Povich in the sixth. Ramirez continues to be active on the basepaths, notching his fourth steal over the past week.     Ohtani (elbow) played catch from 90 feet Monday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

    Advice: Ohtani is throwing from 90 feet for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last September. He continues to progress in his rehab with no issues, and he's certainly shown no ill effects at the plate as a result of his ongoing recovery from the elbow issue. The Dodgers haven't ruled out the possibility of Ohtani playing the outfield at some point in 2024, though that still seems like a long shot.     Maikel Garcia is back in the leadoff spot and playing second base for the Royals on Monday.

    Advice: It’s the first time Garcia has played anywhere other third this year, but the Royals just called up a third baseman in CJ Alexander and have Michael Massey apparently limited to DH at the moment. As a result, Garcia will get to show his versatility. The return to the leadoff spot is also good news; he had led off throughout the season before being dropped to seventh on Saturday and eighth on Sunday. Considering that he has a .291 OBP, there’s no blaming the Royals for making the switch.
