    Advice: Clement played hero in this one with a late single to win it on a first pitch splitter from Kirby Yates. He has an unorthodox approach with a 7.8 K%, 2.3 BB%, and 58.8% swing rate (48.8% is the major league average, but has maintained a .258 batting average this season with his put-everything-in-play style.     Jorge Polanco hit a two-run homer in a blowout win for the Mariners over the White Sox on Friday.

    Advice: Polanco punctuated the blowout with a two-run shot in the fourth inning. The second baseman has been dreadful in 2024 with a .201/.287/.310 slash, but he’s looked better as of late.     Josh Rojas clobbered a three-run homer to help the Mariners to a 10-0 win over the White Sox on Friday.

    Advice: Rojas destroyed a Drew Thorpe offering in the first inning to make it 6-0. His roundtripper would be followed by homers by Dylan Moore and Victor Robles in a rare double-digit scoring game for the Seattle offense.   • Two hits, stolen base in win
    Martinez went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 3-1 win over the Phillies.

    Advice: Martinez reached on an infield single in the first inning, then stole second base and came around to score on a David Fry single. Martinez would later add an RBI of his own during the fourth frame, the sixth in his 21st career game. After not stealing a bag in his first 18 contests, he now has a steal in two of his last three games.
