    • Ronel Blanco struggles in loss to Mariners Sunday
Ronel Blanco struggled in a losing effort against the Mariners on Sunday, giving up four runs on six hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander punched out five batters in the contest while issuing one base on balls. Dylan Moore smacked a two-run triple off of him in the second inning, then Jorge Polanco slugged a solo homer in the fourth. Blanco then put two men on before exiting in the sixth inning, and both runners ultimately came around to score. Blanco piled up 19 swings and misses on 100 pitches in the ballgame — 10 of those on his slider — while posting a CSW of 27 percent. Blanco will look to bounce back as he carries a 2.75 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and a 105/43 K/BB ratio (114 2/3 innings) into a tough matchup against the Dodgers on Saturday. Rotoworld Jul 21, 3:52 pm

    • Judge has two hits, HR in loss
Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in a loss to the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: As has become the norm, Judge delivered and the Yankees lost. Judge now has 35 home runs and 89 RBI on the season. Juan Soto also had three hits on Sunday, but they’re the only two hitters in the Yankees lineup who seem to hit on a regular basis. Perhaps getting Giancarlo Stanton back or adding a bat at the deadline could help Judge’s counting stats over the final two months of the season. Rotoworld Jul 21, 3:17 pm
    • Shota Imanaga strikes out 10 against Diamondbacks
Shota Imanaga fanned 10 while allowing one run over seven innings Sunday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Imanaga and Brandon Pfaadt were locked in a scoreless duel until Eugenio Suárez homered in the top of the seventh. The Cubs came back to tie it in the ninth and win it in the 10th, letting Imanaga off the hook for what would have been his first tough loss in MLB. His only two defeats to date came in games in which he allowed seven and 10 runs, respectively. Rotoworld Jul 21, 2:26 pm

    • Slugs homer in win
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Mariners.

Advice: Diaz singled in his second at-bat and later added a solo homer in the eighth to extend Houston's lead to two runs. The long ball was Diaz's eighth of the season and his first since June 7 against the Angels. It also marked his sixth multi-hit performance this month, during which he's now batting .306 (19-for-62) with 11 RBI and six runs scored. Additionally, Diaz has hit safely in six of his last seven games. Rotowire.com Jul 21, 8:41 am

    • Delivers run, steals bag
Steer went 1-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Washington.

Advice: Steer delivered a runner in scoring position with a first-inning single to give the Reds an early 1-0 lead. The team's primary cleanup hitter, Steer has a .337/.405/.673 line with RISP and leads the Reds with 61 RBI. After reaching base, he put himself in scoring position with the steal, his 15th in 97 games. That's the same number of steals he had over 156 games in 2023. Rotowire.com Jul 21, 6:19 am

    • Carried by offense to 10th win
Gray (10-6) picked up the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader split with Atlanta, giving up five runs on eight hits -- including four home runs -- over seven innings. He struck out 10 without walking a batter.

Advice: The Cardinals' offense gave Gray plenty of support in a 9-5 victory, so his issues keeping the ball in the park didn't come back to bite him. The veteran right-hander had served up only four homers over his last 11 outings combined, so the sudden gopheritis likely isn't going to be a long-term concern. Gray will carry a 3.54 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and stellar 131:24 K:BB through 106.2 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Nationals. • Belts homer Saturday
Westburg went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run in an 8-4 win against the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Westburg led a big performance by the bottom half of Baltimore's lineup, as the team's No. 6 through No. 9 hitters went a combined 9-for-16. The three-hit performance was Westburg's first multi-hit effort over his past nine contests and snapped a four-game hitless streak during which he had gone 0-for-15. The second baseman is up to 16 homers and 52 RBI on the campaign while slashing .273/.318/.500 through 378 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Jul 20, 11:52 pm

    • Westburg homers, picks up three hits in win
Jordan Westburg went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer in a 9-4 win for the Orioles over the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Westburg swatted a two-run shot in the sixth to extend Baltimore’s lead to 7-2 and effectively put the game away. The 25-year-old also singled twice to improve his average to .273 on the campaign. Westburg has slowed down from his red-hot start to the year, but an .818 OPS with 16 homers and 52 RBI is nothing to sneeze at. Rotoworld Jul 20, 7:21 pm

    • Sonny Gray strikes out 10 in victory over Braves
Sonny Gray had mixed results in Saturday’s victory over the Braves, surrendering five runs on eight hits over seven innings of work.

Advice: The 34-year-old hurler recorded 10 strikeouts on the evening and didn’t walk a batter. The contact that he did allow was hard though, as the Braves crushed four solo home runs off of him — including three in the sixth inning alone. Gray generated 15 swings and misses on 87 pitches on the night, posting a stellar CSW of 40 percent. He’ll carry a 10-6 record, 3.54 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and a 131/24 K/BB ratio (106 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Nationals. Rotoworld Jul 20, 7:13 pm
