    • Resting Tuesday
Buxton is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Buxton will get a night off after making four consecutive starts, giving way to Manuel Margot in center field Tuesday. Buxton is riding a six-game hit streak and has five doubles and a home run during that span. Rotowire.com Today, 12:54 pm

    • Taking seat Tuesday
Fry is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Fry is absent from the starting nine for the second time in three games, ceding DH duties to Steven Kwan on Tuesday while Angel Martinez plays left field. Fry is slashing .300/.406/.500 with eight home runs across 229 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 12:39 pm

    • Remains hot Monday
Buxton went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a run and an RBI in Monday's 8-6 extra-innings win against the White Sox.

Advice: Buxton doubled in a run in the fourth inning and scored an insurance run in the 11th after reaching on a single. He finished with his fourth straight multi-hit game and his eighth such effort over his past 12 contests. During that 12-game stretch, Buxton is batting a sizzling .467 (21-for-45) with five homers, eight doubles, 15 RBI and 15 runs. The impressive span has boosted his season batting average from.238 to .282. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:20 pm

    • Fires seven shutout frames
Abbott (9-6) allowed three hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings Monday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Rockies.

Advice: Abbott was dominant Monday, retiring nine straight batters to begin the game and allowing just two runners to reach scoring position. He forced a season-high 19 whiffs; eight of those came via the fastball while his sweeper caused another seven. Abbott has won four straight starts and seven of his last nine dating back to May 21. He's allowed three or fewer earned runs over his last seven outings, posting a 2.70 ERA during that span. Abbott will carry a 3.06 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be at home against Miami. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:54 pm

    • Abbott tosses seven scoreless in win over Rockies
Andrew Abbott tossed seven shutout innings and got the win in the Reds’ 3-0 victory over the Rockies on Monday.

Advice: Abbott gave up three hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was Abbott’s ninth of the year. He certainly pitched well against the Rockies on Monday, but this is still a pitcher with a 7.17 K/9, 3.32 BB/9, and 1.40 HR/9 that pitches half of his games in Cincinnati. He has a 3.06 ERA despite a 4.81 xFIP this year largely due to his 86 percent left on base percentage and .230 BABIP allowed. He has to regress at some point. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Marlins at home this weekend.

    • Marcell Ozuna to take part in Home Run Derby
Marcell Ozuna will participate in the Home Run Derby, MLB announced.

Advice: We’re not sure what exact home run/arrest ratio is necessary to get back into MLB’s good graces, but Ozuna seems to have exceeded it. On performance alone, he’s obviously a deserving choice. He’s at 23 homers right now after finishing with 40 last year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:25 pm

    • Mitch Keller lasts eight innings in victory
Mitch Keller threw eight innings and held the Mets to two runs in the Pirates’ 8-2 victory Monday.

Advice: Coming off consecutive subpar outings, Keller was terrific today, at least aside from a Brandon Nimmo two-run homer. He allowed nothing but singles otherwise, and he wound up with six strikeouts and no walks. Keller improved to 10-5 with a 3.40 ERA. That’s about what he was at this time last year, when he made his first All-Star team, but at least for now, he’s currently set to stay home next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:19 pm

    • Continues to shine on offense
Rojas went 2-for-2 with two doubles, a walk, a run and a stolen base Sunday in a loss to Milwaukee.

Advice: Rojas logged two of Los Angeles' three extra-base hits, doubling in each of the fourth and sixth innings. The shortstop is batting .359 with six doubles, four RBI and a stolen base over his past 11 games to boost his season batting average to .291. Rojas has been playing on a near-everyday basis since Mookie Betts went down with a fractured bone in his left wrist June 16. Though Betts could return in late July or early August, Rojas may not lose his spot in the lineup at that point, as manager Dave Roberts stated early this month that he may consider moving Betts to second base in order to ensure Rojas continues to start at shortstop, per Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times. • Collects 10th win
Keller (10-5) earned the win Monday, allowing two runs on seven hits and no walks over eight innings against the Mets. He struck out six.

Advice: The 28-year-old cruised to his second straight season with double-digit wins, allowing just one extra-base hit -- a two-run Brandon Nimmo homer in the sixth. Keller has been reliable since June 1, pitching to a 3.09 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 44:8 K:BB over 43.2 innings across seven starts. The Pirates right-hander is scheduled to make his last outing of the first half against the White Sox in Chicago this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:22 pm
