    • Knocks three hits
Turang went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a steal in Sunday's loss to Houston.

Advice: Turang doubled, swiped third base and scored in the first inning. He later knocked a two-run single in the seventh. He's been swinging a hot bat all season and is officially entering breakout territory. After registering a brutal .585 OPS through 448 plate appearances in 2023, Turang owns a .314/.369/.431 slash line through 43 games this season. He's perfect in 18 stolen base attempts and has produced 15 multi-hit games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:15 pm

    • Loses to former team
Taillon (3-2) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Pirates.

Advice: Taillon was a bit inefficient, throwing 55 of 92 pitches for strikes. This was the second start in a row where he failed to complete five innings, and it's the third time in a row he's walked multiple batters. The right-hander is now at a 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB through 32.2 innings over six starts, though his strong April has given way to a shakier May following a bout with back stiffness. Taillon is tentatively projected to make his next start on the road in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:15 pm
    • Leaves yard twice
Tucker went 2-for-5 with two homers and four RBI in Sunday's win over the Brewers.

Advice: After striking out in his first three at-bats, Tucker belted a solo homer in the sixth inning and a three-run shot in the seventh. He's gone deep 10 times in his last 20 games after snapping a six-game drought Sunday. It was also his third multi-homer game and first since April 12. Tucker owns a 1.040 OPS with 33 RBI and 15 home runs, tying Gunnar Henderson for the MLB lead. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm

    • Elly De La Cruz strikes out four times in loss
Elly De La Cruz went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: After a tremendous first game of the series, De La Cruz finished the final three games against the Dodgers going 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts. He’s off to an absurd start to the season with 30 stolen bases and nine home runs in 47 games; however, he has started to give back some of his early plate discipline gains. De La Cruz now has 26 strikeouts to just five walks in May while going 14-for-65 at the plate for a .215 average. He’s an electric fantasy player and not somebody you’d ever take out of your lineup, but the 22-year-old remains a work in progress as far as his approach at the plate goes. While that gives him scary good upside, it also means that you should be ready for some prolonged cold streaks as well. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:17 pm

    • Kyle Tucker homers twice in win over Brewers
Kyle Tucker went 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in a 9-4 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Tucker did strike out in his other three at-bats, but let’s not dampen the day. The 27-year-old blasted a 390-foot home run at 107 mph in the sixth inning and then followed that up with a 99.2 mph home run in the seventh. He’s now up to 15 home runs on the season with 33 RBI and remains one of the better fantasy baseball players in the league. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:20 pm

    • Turang has three hits, SB vs Astros
Brice Turang went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and a steal in a loss to the Astros.

Advice: Turang had five solid at-bats on Sunday with two hard-hit outs as well. The 24-year-old is now up to 18 stolen bases on the year and has seen an uptick in fantasy value as he’s been leading off for Milwaukee. So far he’s been one of the better waiver wire claims of the year and there’s no reason to believe that will change any time soon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:15 pm

    • Jameson Taillon allows three runs in loss to Bucs
Jameson Taillon wasn’t at his best in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Pirates, giving up three runs on six hits across 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of walks. He served up a solo homer to Jack Suwinski in the second inning, then kept the Pirates at bay until Nick Gonzales smacked a two-run single in the fifth inning that scored a pair of runners that Taillon had left on base. The 32-year-old hurler got eight swings and misses on 92 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a stellar 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 22/10 K/BB ratio (32 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Cardinals in St. Louis. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Taking on 'fluid' role
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Sunday that Diaz's bullpen role will be more "fluid" for the near future, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 30-year-old surrendered four runs in his third blown save of the season Saturday and admitted that his confidence is down with seven runs allowed in his past three outings, so the Mets won't rely on him to be their primary closer for a bit. Diaz is still viewed as the club's closer long term but is now likely to see some lower-leverage work in an attempt to get him back on track. Adam Ottavino and Reed Garrett are the likely candidates to step in for save chances in the meantime. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:32 pm

    • Not in Sunday's lineup
Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Advice: Smith will get a breather for Sunday's series finale after going 1-for-7 with a walk and an RBI in the first two games of the series. Austin Barnes will step in behind the plate to catch for Landon Knack. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:57 am
