    • Goes seven strong
Nola (6-2) picked up the win Sunday against the Nationals, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks across seven innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Nola completed at least seven innings for the fifth time in his last seven starts -- including a complete game shutout in his last appearance. Although the 31-year-old generated a quality start, he struggled with the long ball, as he allowed a two-run homer to Eddie Rosario in the fourth and a solo home run to Jesse Winker in the fifth. Nola hadn't yielded a homer in three straight starts before Sunday. He's lined up for a trip to Coors Field for a start Saturday. Rotowire.com Today, 8:21 pm
    • Jurickson Profar collects three hits in win Sunday
Jurickson Profar went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and a pair of runs scored in a lopsided victory over the Braves on Sunday night.

Advice: Profar started a rally in the opening inning by drawing a two-out walk off of Bryce Elder. He then rode home on Jake Cronenworth’s two-run blast. He then smacked an RBI double in the fourth inning that extended the Padres’ lead to 6-0 and came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Xander Bogaerts. The 31-year-old outfielder has yet to cool off, and after his three-hit attack he’s now hitting .335/.422/.522 with seven homers, 31 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Today, 7:05 pm
    • Marcell Ozuna doubles in loss to Padres
Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a double as the Braves were dominated by Yu Darvish and the Padres on Sunday evening in Atlanta.

Advice: Ozuna smacked a two-out double off of Darvish in the opening inning, but he never advanced past second base. No other Braves’ hitter would touch second base the remainder of the night against Darvish. Ozuna continues to power the Braves’ offense this season — slashing a robust .325/.400/.610 with 12 homers and 41 RBI through his first 42 ballgames. Rotoworld Today, 7:04 pm
    • Aaron Nola goes seven in victory over Nationals
Aaron Nola lasted seven innings and allowed three runs Sunday in beating the Nationals.

Advice: A strong follow-up to his shutout of the Mets, Nola gave up just two hits, which were homers to Eddie Rosario and Jesse Winker. He’s completed seven innings in five of his last seven starts, and he’s 6-2 with a 3.05 ERA for the season. Rotoworld Today, 2:20 pm
    • Jhoan Duran takes loss against Guardians
Jhoan Duran allowed a walk-off, three-run homer to Will Brennan on Sunday. He also walked two.

Advice: Duran administered free passes to Andrés Giménez and Josh Naylor before Will Brennan barely cleared the right field fence to win the game. That one home run ballooned Duran’s ERA from 1.13 to 4.15. Rotoworld Today, 1:16 pm

    • Fires second straight quality start
Gore allowed two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three batters over 6.1 innings in a no-decision against Philadelphia on Saturday.

Advice: Gore carried a one-run lead into the seventh inning but was pulled after Bryson Stott tagged him for a one-out, game-tying solo homer. Despite that disappointing exit, this was a positive overall outing for the lefty hurler, and he's now fired back-to-back quality starts for the first time this season. Gore didn't have the strikeout stuff Saturday that he had his previous time out when he fanned nine Red Sox batters over six frames, but Gore did established a season-high mark with his 6.1 frames. He'll look to keep rolling in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come at home against Seattle. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:48 pm
    • Mixed bag in no-decision
Castillo did not factor into the decision Saturday in Baltimore, permitting two runs on four hits and four walks over six innings. He struck out two.

Advice: The four walks were a season high and the two strikeouts were by far a season low for Castillo. He still managed a seventh straight quality start, keeping his team in it before the Mariners' offense rallied late. It marks the first no-decision of the season for Castillo, who is just 4-5 despite a 3.28 ERA, including a 2.01 mark across his last seven outings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:55 pm

    • Luis Castillo posts quality start in no-decision
Luis Castillo posted a quality start in a no-decision against the Orioles on Saturday, allowing just two runs on four hits across his six innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander also issued four free passes on the day while recording only two strikeouts. The damage done against him came early in this one, as Austin Hays swatted a sacrifice fly in the second inning and Ryan O’Hearn added a run-scoring single in the third. Castillo generated only five swings and misses on 89 pitches on the night, posting an underwhelming CSW of 21 percent. He’ll attempt to get back in the win column as he carries a 3.28 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 66/15 K/BB ratio (60 1/3 innings) into Thursday’s matchup against the Yankees in New York. • Gore strikes out three in no-decision
MacKenzie Gore allowed two earned runs and struck out three in 6 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Gore hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in a start all season, but he only has two wins to show for it. He lowered his ERA to 3.30 with this outing. The 25-year-old left-hander gets a better matchup in his next game as he’s scheduled to face the Mariners at home next weekend.
