    • Sitting Sunday
Robert is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against Detroit.

Advice: White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said Sunday that it's a scheduled day off for Robert as the 26-year-old outfielder eases his way back from his IL stint due to a hip flexor strain, per Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times. Since returning from the injured list June 4, Robert is slashing .180/.275/.459 with five home runs and seven RBI over 61 at-bats. Tommy Pham will start in center field while Andrew Benintendi and Gavin Sheets man the corners against Tigers right-hander Reese Olson. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:37 am

    • Luis Robert Jr. not in Sunday’s lineup vs. Tigers
Luis Robert Jr. is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the division-rival Tigers.

Advice: It appears to be a routine off day for Robert, who has made nine consecutive starts for Chicago dating back to June 13. The 26-year-old is batting .180 (11-for-61) with five homers and two steals in 17 games since returning earlier this month from a lengthy stint on the injured list. • Demolishes 23rd homer
Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's win over the Angels while also drawing a walk.

Advice: Ohtani jumped on a hanging slider from Zach Plesac in the third inning and launched it 459 feet into the stands in right-center field for his 23rd home run of the season. The superstar slugger has now homered in three consecutive games and has collected at least one RBI in seven straight. Over that latter stretch, he's batting .481 (13-for-27) with six homers, 13 RBI and 10 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:15 am

    • Makes splash in Saturday's win
Cruz went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rays.

Advice: He destroyed the first pitch he saw from Zach Eflin in the first inning, sending the 78.2 mph curveball out of the stadium to right field and straight into the Allegheny River. Per Adam Berry and Justice delos Santos of MLB.com, it's just the sixth time since PNC Park opened that a ball has been hit into the river on the fly. Despite his prodigious physical tools, Cruz is still having trouble producing consistently for the Pirates, but he has stepped things up this month. Through 16 games in June, the 25-year-old is slashing .250/.283/.464 with three homers, one steal, 11 runs and 11 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:18 am

    • Back in startling lineup
Marte started at second base and went 0-for-3 in Saturday's 12-1 loss to Philadelphia.

Advice: Marte hadn't played the field since Wednesday; he served as the designated hitter Thursday then was held out of the starting lineup Friday. All appears to be fine for Marte, who was merely given a two-game respite from playing the field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:13 am
    • Shohei Ohtani homers again, Dodgers crush Angels
Shohei Ohtani homered for the second consecutive contest against his former team during Saturday’s Freeway Series finale, leading the Dodgers to a commanding 7-2 victory over the Angels.

Advice: Ohtani connected for his 23rd round-tripper of the season in the fourth inning of Saturday’s Freeway Series finale against his former organization, launching a gargantuan 459-foot two-run moonshot to right-center field off Angels starter Zach Plesac as part of the Dodgers’ four-run explosion in the frame. The 29-year-old fantasy superstar homered in both games of the two-game set at Dodger Stadium and has gone deep a staggering six times over his last seven contests since June 16. Unreal. • Reaches 10-homer mark
Goldschmidt went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Goldschmidt is 8-for-26 (.308) with two homers during his six-game hitting streak. He helped the Cardinals keep pace early in this contest before they ran away with the lead at the end. The first baseman has endured a tough campaign with a .230/.300/.364 slash line, 10 homers, 31 RBI, 36 runs scored, three stolen bases and nine doubles over 73 games. • Cruz blasts 10th home run in win Saturday
Oneil Cruz went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, a walk and a solo home run against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz’ home run was his 10th of the year. The solo shot came against Rays starter Zach Eflin in the first inning with two outs. It was Cruz’ first home run since June 8th. While he hits the ball hard when he connects, Cruz’ 32 percent strikeout percentage is still quite high. Maybe he’ll get his power stroke going in the second half of the year to help prop up all the strikeouts.

    • Oneil Cruz homers, scores twice in win over Rays
Oneil Cruz homered and scored two runs in a 4-2 win for the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz obliterated a Zack Eflin pitch for a 445-foot dinger to tie the game at 1-1 in the first. The 25-year-old also drew a walk and came around to score a few batters later. There are going to be ups and downs with Cruz, but the power is obviously legitimate, and helps mitigate some of the contact issues. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:16 pm
