    • Michael King tagged for five runs in loss Sunday
Michael King struggled in a losing effort against the Brewers on Sunday afternoon, giving up five runs on nine hits over his six innings of work.

Advice: King helped to salvage his day, at least from a fantasy perspective, by racking up eight strikeouts and issuing just one base on balls. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning, as the Brewers strung together five singles and a triple to push five runs across. He settled in nicely after that and finished his day with four scoreless frames, but it was too late at that point. King got 11 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 31 percent. The highly inconsistent right-hander will carry a 3.75 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and a 109/38 K/BB ratio (93 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Red Sox in Boston. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:52 pm

    • Framber Valdez dazzles against Orioles
Framber Valdez allowed one run on six hits in seven innings in a win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Valdez struck out seven and walked two on the day. He allowed just one extra-base hit, but it happened to be a solo home run to Jordan Westburg. The left-hander induced 11 whiffs on 45 swings for a 24 percent whiff rate and 34 percent CSW against a really talented offense. That’s now back-to-back really strong starts for Valdez after a rough outing against the Giants. He’ll carry a 3.68 ERA into a plus matchup against the Mets next week. • Yandy Díaz homers in Rays’ victory over Pirates
Yandy Díaz went 3-for-4 and homered off Paul Skenes as the Rays topped the Pirates 3-1 on Sunday.

Advice: Díaz’s leadoff homer in the first was the Rays’ only run until they got two off Colin Holderman in the eighth. It was Díaz’s sixth homer of the year. He’s batting .366 during his current 16-game hitting streak. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:14 pm

    • Bryan Reynolds goes 2-for-3, hits 12th homer
Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-3 with a homer that accounted for Pittsburgh’s only run and a walk Sunday against the Rays.

Advice: The homer left his bat at just 90 mph, but aided by some wind, it got over the wall at PNC Park. Reynolds’ hitting streak is now at 20 games, and it includes three homers in his last four games. Today’s performance pushed his OPS over .800 for the first time since mid-April. • Blake Snell chased in second inning of rehab start
Blake Snell (groin) struggled in his first minor league rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks over just 1 2/3 innings.

Advice: None of the five outs that the 31-year-old southpaw did record came via the strikeout. Snell threw 51 pitches in contest, 27 of those for strikes. The expectation was always that Snell would require at least two rehab starts before he was ready to return, and given his struggles on Sunday it’s likely that they’ll want to see better before they bring him back. • Posts 20-game hitting streak
Reynolds went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Sunday against the Rays.

Advice: Reynolds extended his hitting streak to 20 games with an infield single in the first, then later tied the game with a fourth-inning blast that just cleared the wall in right. It was the 12th home run for Reynolds, who has collected five of those during this current hit streak that spans the entirety of the month of June. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:36 pm
    • Hitting streak up to 16
Diaz went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Diaz tagged Pirates starter Paul Skenes early, depositing the first pitch of the game off the foul pole in right field for his sixth homer of the season. He later led off the eighth with his third hit, which eventually saw pinch runner Jose Caballero cross the plate with the go-ahead run. Diaz extended his hitting streak to 16 games in the process, collecting his ninth multiple-hit effort during that stretch and fourth multi-hit game over the last five. He's batting 26-for-71 (.366) during the streak. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:25 pm

    • Sitting Sunday
Heim is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Royals.

Advice: Heim will sit Sunday after going 0-for-4 with one run, one RBI and four walks over the first two games of the series. Andrew Knizner will start behind home plate and bat eighth against Kansas City right-hander Alec Marsh. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:58 am

    • Goes yard again
Kwan went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Kwan saw a 14-game hitting streak end Friday with an 0-for-4 performance, but he rebounded nicely Saturday. The homer was his third in June, and he's added six doubles, 10 RBI and 16 runs scored this month. The outfielder has matched his career high with six long balls, and with over half of the season to go, he has a reasonable chance at double digits. He's slashing a fantastic .390/.449/.564 with 22 RBI, 45 runs scored, three stolen bases, 12 doubles and two triples over 48 contests. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:05 pm
