    • Tagged with six runs
Anderson (7-8) yielded six runs on seven hits and a walk over 4.2 innings Sunday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Tigers.

Advice: Anderson gave up one run through three innings before the Tigers plated three runs in the fourth. He was charged with two more when Carson Kelly drilled a three-run homer off Andrew Wantz in the fifth. It was the most runs allowed by Anderson this season and his ERA jumped from 2.63 to 3.03 through 104 frames. He went 2-3 with a 4.15 ERA in six June outings. Anderson's next start is lined up to be on the road against the Cubs. Rotowire.com 55 minutes ago
    • Three hits Sunday
O'Hearn went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: O'Hearn got a rare start versus lefty Andrew Heaney on Sunday and came through with three base hits when most of the lineup was held in check. Heading into Sunday's game, O'Hearn was just 2-for-15 against southpaws for the season but he got the start with Ryan Mountcastle unable to go due to an illness. He's now reached safely in 13 consecutive games to close out June and is slashing .285/.347/.461 with 10 homers, 34 RBI, 31 runs and a 22:25 BB:K in 251 plate appearances this season. • Another shaky outing Sunday
Irvin (6-5) took the loss against the Rangers on Sunday, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over 3.2 innings.

Advice: Irvin served up a two-run blast to Derek Hill in the second and was chased out of the game in the fourth after surrendering a triple, three singles and a walk, leading to three more runs for the Rangers. He's now failed to cover at least five innings in three straight starts and has given up 14 runs over that span while compiling just a 5:4 K:BB in his last 12.1 innings pitched. Irvin now owns a 4.13 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 56:17 K:BB in 80.2 innings this season. He's lined up for a start against the Athletics this weekend, though it's worth monitoring what manager Brandon Hyde decides to do with his rotation spot after his recent struggles with Dean Kremer (triceps) on the cusp of returning from a rehab assignment. • Extends hitting streak to 10
Diaz went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI on Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Diaz was productive throughout the game, though his biggest contribution came in the 11th inning when he kept a rally going that resulted in five runs. He extended his hitting streak to 10 games with the effort, which has been highlighted by four three-hit performances. In that span, Diaz has hit .429 with eight RBI and 10 runs scored. • Reaches 30-save milestone
Helsley struck out two batters in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save over Cincinnati on Sunday.

Advice: Helsley efficiently rolled through the Reds' 2-3-4 hitters with just 10 pitches. He extended his MLB save lead and became the first pitcher in the 2024 season to reach 30 saves. He's converted those 30 saves consecutively after blowing his first opportunity of the year March 30. Helsley is sporting a 2.61 ERA with a 46:16 K:BB through 38 innings. • Finishes single short of cycle
Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances. • Cole Irvin tagged for five runs by Rangers
Cole Irvin lasted just 3 2/3 innings and gave up five runs in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Irvin seemed safe from being threatened by Dean Kramer’s return, but with three poor outings in a row taking his ERA from 3.03 to 4.17, a demotion to the pen is realistic. Albert Suárez and Cade Povich are the other two candidates to be bumped from the rotation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

    • Ryan O’Hearn goes 3-for-4, knocks in run
Starting against a lefty for the first time all season, Ryan O’Hearn went 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: We’re still not sure why O’Hearn played and Ryan Mountcastle sat tonight, but O’Hearn came through nicely, picking up all three of his hits against lefties. He had been 2-for-15 versus southpaws this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:15 pm

    • Tyler Anderson hit hard Sunday in loss to Tigers
Tyler Anderson was lit up for six runs over 4 2/3 innings on Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Anderson was shelled for seven hits, including a two-run homer by Tigers rookie Justyn-Henry Malloy. He finished with just two strikeouts and only issued one walk. The 34-year-old southpaw has experienced some significant pullback in the run-prevention department over the last few weeks as his ERA has ballooned from 2.47 back on May 29 to a more league-average 3.03 mark by the end of June. He’ll square off against the Cubs on Saturday at Wrigley Field his next time out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:04 pm
