    • Drives in three in win
Steer went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 9-4 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Steer bookended Cincinnati's scoring. He drove in the Reds' first run with a first-inning triple then doubled home the team's eighth and ninth runs in the fourth. The three RBI gave him a team-leading 64 for the season, which ranks 18th in MLB. Rotowire.com 59 minutes ago

    • Records another save
Clase earned a save against Detroit on Wednesday, issuing one walk and striking out one batter in one scoreless inning.

Advice: Clase entered the contest in the top of the ninth inning and retired the first two batters he faced before walking Colt Keith. The free pass didn't hurt him, however, as the veteran closer then got Matt Vierling to ground out to end the contest. The save was Clase's second in as many days and his 18th consecutive successful opportunity since his last blown save May 19. Overall, Clase's 31 saves on the campaign rank second in the majors. • Vinnie Pasquantino drives in two runs vs. D-Backs
Vinnie Pasquantino went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a walk against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Advice: Pasquantino has been heating up at the plate, with three multi-hit games in his last four contests. He collected three base hits and drew a walk to reach four times against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday. His biggest hit came in the ninth, driving in two runs with a single to but the D-Backs’ lead to two. The 26-year-old first baseman is slashing .258/.320/.425 with 11 homers and 66 RBI across 410 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:09 pm
    • Emmanuel Clase locks down 31st save
Emmanuel Clase worked a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday to earn the save against the Tigers. He walked one batter and struck out another.

Advice: Clase’s 31 saves only trail Ryan Helsley for most in the league as he’s turned in another excellent season. His cutter touched 101.2 MPH in this outing and it’s a marvel anyone can ever get a hit off him with that devastating stuff. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:08 pm
    • Fans four in no-decision
Steele did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's loss to the Brewers, allowing two earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four in 5.1 innings.

Advice: Steele came out of the All-Star break flat, yielding five earned runs on nine hits in his previous start. Wednesday's outing was certainly an improvement, but his 4:3 K:BB was underwhelming, especially compared to his pre-intermission production. In nine starts leading up to the All-Star break, Steele dazzled with a 1.48 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and a 58:12 K:BB ratio in 61 innings. The southpaw will look to find his form in his next start, currently scheduled for early next week in Cincinnati. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:01 pm
    • Moved to 60-day IL
Atlanta transferred Harris (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

Advice: Harris was placed on the 10-day IL on June 15 due to a strained left hamstring and hasn't yet resumed sprinting, among other baseball activities. As such, his move to the 60-day IL won't have much affect on his timeline to return, as he was already looking unlikely to be ready to rejoin Atlanta by mid-August. The transaction opens up a spot on the 40-man roster spot for lefty Zach Logue, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:08 pm

    • Braves transfer Michael Harris II to 60-day IL
Braves transferred OF Michael Harris II to the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Nothing has changed in the recovery timeline for the dynamic 23-year-old outfielder, this was done as a procedural move to free up a spot on the club’s 40-man roster. There have been rumblings that Harris could be ready to return in early August, but he would need to make significant progress over the next week in order to make that a reality. • Justin Steele allows two runs in no-decision
Justin Steele was charged with two runs over 5 1/3 innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Brewers.

Advice: Steele gave up six hits, including run-scoring singles to Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang in the first and sixth innings, respectively. He finished with four strikeouts and also handed out three free passes. It wasn’t a dominant performance, but it was a much-needed bounce-back outing after getting lit up for five runs over 4 2/3 innings last Friday in his second-half debut against the Diamondbacks. He’ll bring a stellar 3.08 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 91/23 K/BB ratio across 96 1/3 innings (16 starts) into a road tilt on Tuesday against the Reds. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:01 pm
    • Spencer Steer triples, doubles twice versus Braves
Spencer Steer tripled, doubled twice and knocked in three versus the Braves in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: The triple turned into a Little League homer after second baseman Zack Short had the ball slip out of his hand while attempting a relay throw to third. It’s the first time this year that Steer has had three extra-base hits in a game. He’s batting .243/.321/.557 with five homers, 13 RBI and 14 runs scored in 18 games this month.
