Advice: Profar tied the game at 8-8 with a homer off Paul Sewald in the bottom of the ninth. The 31-year-old continues to impress in his breakout campaign with a .316/.409/.490 slash along with 13 homers and 57 RBI. Just like we all expected. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:59 pm

    • Swats 12th homer Thursday
Profar went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run in Thursday's 3-1 win against Texas.

Advice: Profar powered the Padres to a 2-0 lead with his his solo blast to right field in the sixth inning. The recently anointed All-Star continues to be productive, gathering at least one hit in 15 of his past 16 contests and slashing .295/.348/.443 with two homers, 11 RBI, 11 runs and a stolen base over that span. Profar ranks third among qualified hitters with a .317 batting average on the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:29 am
    • Slated for return Friday
Harrison (ankle) will be reinstated from the 15-day injured list Saturday to make a start in Cleveland.

Advice: As anticipated, Harrison will bypass a rehab assignment and step right back into the San Francisco rotation after having missed just under a month with a right ankle sprain. During his absence, Harrison has been able to build his arm back up through bullpen sessions and live batting practice sessions, so he likely won't face any major restrictions in his first start since June 10. Harrison went 4-3 with a 3.96 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 68:22 K:BB across 77.1 innings over his first 14 starts with the Giants prior to landing on the shelf. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:14 am

    • Takes third loss
Myers (5-3) took the loss against the Rockies on Thursday, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out five over six innings.

Advice: Myers allowed multiple baserunners in each of the first two frames, leading to three runs coming home early for Colorado. He then cruised through the next two innings before surrendering a solo shot to Jake Cave in the sixth, marking the second game in a row in which the 25-year-old has given up a home run. Myers also allowed a season-high eight hits on the night en route to being handed his first loss since May 4 against the Cubs. On a positive note, he's now gone at least six innings in five of his last six starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:39 am
    • Keeps rolling for eighth win
Ober (8-4) picked up the win Thursday against Detroit, allowing three runs (one earned) on seven hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: All three runs scored by the Tigers came with two outs in the second inning after strike three to Zach McKinstry got past Ryan Jeffers and allowed McKinstry to reach first and extend the inning. Still, Ober managed to generate a fourth outing with at least eight Ks, all of which have been quality starts. Through 94 innings this year, Ober owns a 4.12 ERA and a 100:23 K:BB. He's tentatively scheduled to face the White Sox in Chicago next time out. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:12 pm

Advice: Ramos had a quiet stretch in the later part of June, but he's now bounced back with four multi-hit efforts over his last five games. In that span, he's hit two homers and two doubles while driving in five runs. The outfielder is at a .298/.373/.530 slash line with 12 long balls, 40 RBI, 24 runs scored and two stolen bases over 225 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:09 pm

    • Goes seven innings in win
Webb (7-6) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings to earn the win over Atlanta on Thursday.

Advice: Webb gave up both runs on three hits and a sacrifice fly in the first inning, then settled in to produce a strong start by not allowing a runner past second base for the next six frames. He's gone seven innings in six of his last eight starts as he continues to be an innings-eater at the top of the Giants' rotation. For the season, Webb has a 3.09 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 103:27 K:BB over 119.1 innings through 19 starts. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Blue Jays. Advice: Myers gave up eight hits, walked one and struck out five. Myers allowed an RBI double to Ryan McMahon in the first inning and a two-run double to Charlie Blackmon in the second inning. He held the Rockies scoreless from there until Jake Cave homered in the sixth inning. Myers has completed six innings in five of his last six starts and has a respectable 3.52 ERA on the season.
