• Mookie Betts diagnosed with fractured left hand
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters after Sunday’s game that Mookie Betts has been diagnosed with a fractured left hand.

Advice: The unfortunate injury occurred when he was hit by a 98 mph fastball during Sunday’s game against the Royals. Roberts relayed that while the injury will not require surgery, it will take time to heal. He wouldn’t elaborate on that timetable, other than to say that the injury will not end his 2024 season. Expect Miguel Rojas to see increased action at shortstop while the 31-year-old superstar is shelved. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:45 pm

  • Exits after being hit by pitch
Betts exited Sunday's contest with the Royals in the seventh inning after being hit in the left hand by a pitch, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Advice: Betts took a 97.9 mph fastball from reliever Dan Altavilla off his left hand in the bottom of the seventh inning, immediately exiting the contest afterward. The 31-year-old was in an obvious amount of pain, and more information on his status will likely come following the conclusion of the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:11 pm

  • Luis Rengifo diagnosed with left wrist contusion
Luis Rengifo was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion after being hit by a batted ball during Sunday’s contest against the Giants.

Advice: Presumably, he has already undergone imaging that ruled out any fractures, but the announcement from the Angels was simply that he was dealing with a left wrist contusion. It sounds like Rengifo was fortunate to have avoided any more serious injury, but his status should still be monitored over the next few days to be on the safe side. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:00 pm

  • Luis Rengifo leaves game with wrist injury Sunday
Luis Rengifo was pulled from Sunday’s game against the Giants after injuring his left wrist in the fourth inning.

Advice: A hard-hit ball off the bat of Matt Chapman deflected off of Rengifo’s wrist at third base and he immediately went down in pain. He’ll head for imaging to see if there’s any damage structurally. The Angels should have an update on the dynamic 27-year-old infielder’s status after the game. Stay tuned. • Mookie Betts leaves game after hit by pitch Sunday
Mookie Betts was removed from Sunday’s battle against the Royals after being hit in the left hand/wrist area by a 98 mph fastball.

Advice: The 31-year-old superstar was in obvious pain afterwards and the Dodgers immediately made the call to replace him with pinch-runner Miguel Rojas. He’ll head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. The Dodgers should have an update on his status shortly. • De La Cruz homers, steals base in loss Sunday
Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored, a solo home run, a triple and a stolen base against the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: De La Cruz filled up the box score on Sunday. The home run was his 12th of the season and the stolen base was his 36th. He’s hitting .235, but he’s been the most explosive player in fantasy this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:27 pm
  • Correa hammers three hits, two home runs Sunday
Carlos Correa went 3-for-5 with two home runs, two runs scored, and 3 RBI against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Correa continues his hot streak at the dish. The two home runs give him eight total on the season and his average is up to .306 with an .879 OPS. He’s been as good as a player can be in fantasy without stealing bases.

  • Lifted early with leg injury
Crawford was removed from Sunday's game against the Cubs in the top of the eighth inning with an apparent left hamstring injury, John Denton of MLB.com reports. He went 1-for-1 with a double, two walks and a run scored before departing.

Advice: With Masyn Winn getting a day out of the field and serving as the Cardinals' designated hitter, Crawford entered the starting nine at shortstop for just the 12th time all season. He got off to a strong start to the day at the plate before he was pulled midway through his eighth-inning plate appearance, when he appeared to grab at his hamstring following a big swing. Jose Fermin came off the bench to replace Crawford and popped out. The Cardinals should have more information on Crawford's condition after the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:25 pm
  • Brandon Crawford leaves with apparent leg injury
Brandon Crawford left Sunday’s game against the Cubs with an apparent injury.

Advice: Crawford grabbed at the back of his leg after swinging and missing at a pitch, and Jose Fermin came in to finish the rest of the at-bat. The 37-year-old will likely undergo testing to determine the severity of the injury, and there should be an update on his status before the conclusion of Sunday’s finale. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:21 pm
