    • Receiving breather
Lewis is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Seattle.

Advice: Lewis will get his first day off since June 14, giving way to Jose Miranda at third base Saturday. After hitting nine home runs in his first 16 games of June, Lewis has just one hit in his last 21 at-bats. Rotowire.com 11 minutes ago

    • Nolan Jones goes deep in loss to White Sox
Nolan Jones went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Jones took Jonathan Cannon deep for a two-run shot in the fifth inning. It was only his third home run of the season as he’s struggled to a .192/.298/.323 slash line, striking out 33.1 percent of the time across 151 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:53 pm

    • Resumes taking swings
Bryant (oblique) took swings in the batting cage prior to Friday's game, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bryant has a rib and oblique injury and has been sidelined since June 3. He took positive steps Friday, but he remains without a timeline to return to the field. Rotowire.com Today, 10:53 am

    • Out of lineup Saturday
McCormick is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.

Advice: McCormick went 0-for-1 with one walk and one strikeout before being pinch hit by Jon Singleton in the sixth inning of Friday's 7-2 loss to New York. With McCormick starting Saturday's game in the dugout, Singleton will start at first base while Mauricio Dubon shifts to right field against Mets right-hander Tylor Megill. • Works out on treadmill
Stanton (hamstring) resumed activity on a treadmill Thursday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Given the nature of Stanton's injury, any work on a treadmill is a sign of positive progress, though manager Aaron Boone characterized the slugger's activity level as "not a lot." Stanton went on the injured list with a hamstring strain June 23 and subsequently said he expects to miss about four weeks of action, so he's not expected to be activated until after the All-Star break. The veteran had been swinging a hot bat prior to getting hurt, slashing .378/.439/.649 with three homers and nine RBI during a 10-game hitting streak. Rotowire.com Today, 8:28 am

    • Smacks homer in loss
Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Ramirez is up to six homers and 16 RBI over 21 contests in June while hitting .294 (25-for-85) for the month. The third baseman opened the scoring Friday, but the Royals poured on seven runs before the Guardians had a response. Overall, Ramirez continues to provide elite all-around production with 22 homers, 73 RBI, 62 runs scored, 15 stolen bases and a .278/.332/.547 slash line through 77 contests. • Triston McKenzie pulled in third against Royals
Triston McKenzie gave up five runs in 2 1/3 innings Friday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: McKenzie issued the first intentional walk of his career to Bobby Witt Jr. in the third, though it was one of those in which the pitcher got to a 3-0 count and then put him on. The Royals went on to score three times afterwards, though things were probably trending in that direction anyway. McKenzie’s velocity has climbed some since the start of the year, but his results have been dreadful lately; he’s pitched just 7 2/3 innings and given up 12 earned runs and 11 walks in his last three starts. • Roughed up in loss
McKenzie (3-5) took the loss Friday in Kansas City, allowing five runs on five hits and three walks over 2.1 innings with three strikeouts.

Advice: The Cleveland right-hander closed out a tough month with this performance, failing to pitch past the third inning for the third consecutive start. Over five June starts, McKenzie posted a 9.33 ERA, 2.13 WHIP and 19:15 K:BB across 18.1 innings. The 26-year-old is currently scheduled to face the White Sox at home in his next outing. • Out of Cleveland lineup
Naylor is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Kansas City.

Advice: Naylor has now been out of the lineup for two of the last three games and five of the last nine tilts. Austin Hedges will do the catching for Triston McKenzie in this one. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:33 pm
