    • Diagnosed with bruised head
D'Arnaud was diagnosed with a head contusion after leaving Friday's game against the Padres in the sixth inning, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: D'Arnaud reported dizziness after taking a foul ball off his facemask during the fifth inning. Manager Brian Snitker said that d'Arnaud passed all the initial tests for a potential concussion, but the team will evaluate him again Saturday before making a decision on his status going forward. • Blake Snell strikes out 10 in rehab start Friday
Blake Snell was outstanding in Friday’s minor league rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento, piling up 10 strikeouts over five innings of no-hit baseball.

Advice: The plan all along had been for Snell to rejoin the Giants’ rotation next week as long as this start went well, and he was nearly perfect. Look for him to slot back into the team’s rotation against the Pirates in Pittsburgh next week. Prior to landing on the injured list, Snell had gone 0-3 with an 11.57 ERA and 1.97 WHIP over his first three starts. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago

    • Travis d’Arnaud leaves game with head contusion
Travis d’Arnaud was pulled from Friday night’s battle against the Padres due to a head contusion.

Advice: The 35-year-old backstop was dizzy after taking a foul ball off of his mask, prompting his removal from the game. The good news, is that he passed the initial concussion tests without issue, but he will be evaluated again on Saturday before the team makes a determination on his status. For now, he should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Today, 7:32 pm

    • Aaron Judge homers again in win
Aaron Judge went 1-for-1 with a solo home run and three walks in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Judge has been retired just once in three games as his scalding hot streak continues. He has six home runs in his last 46 at-bats and his .981 OPS is suddenly sixth among all qualified hitters. Rotoworld Today, 7:06 pm

    • Exits with dizziness
D'Arnaud was removed from Friday's game against San Diego due to dizziness.

Advice: D'Arnaud took a foul ball off his facemask in the fifth inning and did not take the field for the sixth. Atlanta will likely evaluate him for a possible concussion, and an update on his status should come after Friday's contest. Rotowire.com Today, 6:19 pm

    • Alec Bohm drives in run as Phillies beat Nationals
Alec Bohm clubbed an RBI double on Friday as the Phillies defeated the Nationals in Philadelphia.

Advice: Bohm opened the scoring in the home half of the first inning, plating J.T. Realmuto with his run-scoring double off of Nationals’ right-hander Jake irvin. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, the 27-year-old slugger is now hitting a robust .331/.397/.521 with four long balls, 37 RBI and a pair of stolen bases. • Jonathan India returns to Reds’ lineup on Friday
Jonathan India (migraine) returned to the Reds’ starting lineup for Friday night’s matchup against the Dodgers.

Advice: India had missed each of the team’s previous two games due to migraines. He’s back in there at second base on Friday night and will bat leadoff against James Paxton and the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Rotoworld Today, 3:37 pm

    • Shut down from throwing
Whitlock (oblique) reported soreness in his left elbow following his rehab start at Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: Whitlock performed well during his outing Wednesday, throwing 4.2 scoreless innings while striking out five batters, but his elbow may cause his return to the Red Sox to be postponed. The 27-year-old righty will be examined by team doctors in Boston on Monday, at which point more information on his status will be available. Rotowire.com Today, 3:16 pm

    • Garrett Whitlock dealing with soreness in elbow
Garrett Whitlock will undergo additional testing on Monday after experiencing soreness in his right elbow.

Advice: Ugh. The 27-year-old hurler had looked sharp in his latest minor league rehab start at Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday, striking out five batters over 4 2/3 innings of shutout baseball. The plan was to have him rejoin the Red Sox’ rotation next week, but that’s obviously on hold for now. The Red Sox should provide an update on his status after Monday’s testing is complete, but it doesn’t sound great. Rotoworld Today, 3:08 pm
