    • Records five hits
Correa went 5-for-6 with three runs scored and an RBI in Wednesday's 17-9 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Correa's first career five-hit game is the highlight of what's been a stellar run at the plate -- he's now 15-for-29 (.517) with a double and a home run over his last seven contests. The 29-year-old Correa is now slashing .290/.356/.459 with five homers, 28 RBI and 28 runs scored across 208 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:24 pm

    • Carlos Correa tallies five hits, Twins roll Rockies
Carlos Correa recorded a career-high five hits on Wednesday, leading the Twins to a lopsided 17-9 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Correa singled five times, finishing 5-for-6 with an RBI and also scored three runs in this one, as Minnesota racked up a staggering 24 hits in a back-and-forth slugfest at Target Field. It’s pretty incredible the impact that a five-hit effort can have as it raises his full-season batting average from .271 to a near-elite .290 mark. The 29-year-old shortstop isn’t hitting for a ton of over-the-fence pop, but he’s been on a tear of late, batting .310 over his last 30 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:06 pm

    • Back in action Wednesday
Hoerner (hand) will start at second base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Though Hoerner was diagnosed with a small fracture in his right hand over the weekend, he avoided a stint on the injured list and will make his return to the lineup after missing only four starts. Before his recent absence, Hoerner had gone 0-for-8 over his last three starts, and it may take a bit for him to regain full strength in his hand and recapture the exit velocities he had provided prior to suffering the injury. Fantasy managers in leagues with daily lineup moves may be best served leaving Hoerner on the bench until he resumes producing at a level that warrants keeping him active. • Nico Hoerner (hand) gets into Tuesday’s contest
Nico Hoerner (hand) made an appearance as a defensive replacement during Tuesday’s loss to the Rays.

Advice: Hoerner appears likely to avoid a trip to the injured list as he attempts to play through a small fracture in his right hand. The 27-year-old second baseman was held out of the lineup on Tuesday for the fourth straight contest, but was able to come off the bench as a defensive replacement in the late innings. The biggest question for fantasy managers is whether the lingering hand issue will impact his offensive performance moving forward, even if he doesn’t wind up requiring a lengthy absence. • Nico Hoerner available off bench on Tuesday vs. Rays
Nico Hoerner (hand) remains absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Rays.

Advice: Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Hoerner is available off the bench after getting through an extensive hitting session on Tuesday afternoon. There’s some optimism the 27-year-old second baseman will be able to play through the issue, and should return to the lineup soon, but he remains on the bench to open a three-game set down in Tampa Bay. • On bench again Tuesday
Hoerner (hand) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Rays.

Advice: Hoerner is dealing with a small fracture in his right hand and will miss a fourth straight start. According to Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times, the 27-year-old partook in a hitting session Tuesday and will be available off the bench, and he could be back in the lineup for Wednesday's contest. Michael Busch is getting a second straight start at second base Tuesday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:02 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson gets day off Tuesday vs. ATL
Gunnar Henderson is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against Atlanta.

Advice: Henderson has played in all 65 games thus far, but at least to begin the game, he’ll take a seat for the opener against Atlanta. Jordan Westburg is leading off for the Orioles, and Jorge Mateo (concussion) is off the injured list to get the start at shortstop. Henderson should be back in action Wednesday. • Getting breather Tuesday
Henderson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Henderson will get his first day off of the season after appearing in each of the Orioles' first 65 games of 2024. The breather comes on the 12th day of a streak of 17 straight games. Jorge Mateo (concussion) was activated from the 7-day IL and will start at shortstop and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:15 pm
    • Correa has another two-hit game Monday
Carlos Correa went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Rockies on Monday.

Advice: Correa is up to .270 with 27 RBI on the season. Not bad considering he already dealt with an oblique injury this season. Correa isn’t going to regain his All-Star form from his days with the Astros. He’s also not going to hit more than 20 home runs or steal any bases, but he’s quietly having a nice season by any reasonable measure. Rotoworld Monday, 7:18 pm
