      Nico Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a homer and a stolen base for the Cubs in an extra-inning win over the Giants on Thursday.

      Advice: Hoerner swatted a two-run blast off Jordan Hicks in the third inning to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead. That’s only the third homer of the season for the 27-year-old, but the steal was already the 14th of the year.       Advice: Correa was hit in the hand by a pitch Thursday in the seventh inning and immediately left the game. X-rays came back clean, and he told reporters after the game that he's confident he'll be in the lineup to start the Twins' series against Seattle on Friday.
