      Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters late Thursday that Juan Soto will undergo further imaging on his left forearm.

      Advice: Boone added that Soto has been playing through a lingering forearm issue for roughly a week at this juncture, which he’s continued to receive treatment to address, but he didn’t want to risk sending him back out there following a lengthy 56-minute rain delay during Thursday’s contest against the Twins. The 25-year-old fantasy superstar will undergo some precautionary imaging to determine the severity of the issue.       Marcus Stroman allowed five runs in 4 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Yankees’ 8-5 victory over the Twins on Thursday.

      Advice: Stroman gave up six hits, walked two and struck out two. He didn’t qualify for the win because he was unable to complete five innings. Stroman’s ERA is 3.16 on the season, but his xFIP is significantly higher at 4.48. He’s never been a big strikeout pitcher and has benefitted from an 82 percent left on base percentage this year.
