    • Beginning rehab assignment Friday
Conforto (hamstring) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Conforto continues to work his way through a right hamstring strain that he sustained May 11 against the Reds. Before landing on the IL, Conforto was slashing .280/.331/.490 with seven home runs and 20 RBI over 154 plate appearances. If all goes well, he may only need a few rehab appearances before being activated. Rotowire.com Today, 4:32 pm
    • Michael Conforto starts rehab assignment Friday
Michael Conforto (hamstring) began a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Friday.

Advice: The Giants’ outfield could use some reinforcements, and Conforto should be ready to provide that after a couple of minor league games to get his timing back. If all goes well, he should return to the active roster early next week. Before landing on the injured list, the 31-year-old slugger was hitting .280/.331/.490 with seven homers and 20 RBI in 38 games. Rotoworld Today, 4:16 pm
    • Back in lineup Friday
Hoskins will serve as the designated hitter and bat sixth in Friday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Hoskins has been out of action since May 13 due to a right hamstring strain, and he was activated off the injured list Friday. He'll face off against White Sox right-hander Erick Fedde. Rotowire.com Today, 3:48 pm
    • Brewers activate Rhys Hoskins from 10-day IL
Brewers activated 1B Rhys Hoskins from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger will make his triumphant return to the Brewers’ starting lineup on Friday night against the White Sox. Prior to landing on the injured list with a right hamstring strain, Hoskins was hitting .233/.340/.474 with nine homers and 27 RBI through his first 38 games. Rotoworld Today, 3:47 pm
    • Activated from IL
The Brewers reinstated Hoskins (hamstring) from the injured list Friday.

Advice: Hoskins has been on the injured list since he strained his right hamstring during a game against Pittsburgh on May 13. He was originally expected to come off the IL during Milwaukee's upcoming road series in Philadelphia, but the slugging first baseman will instead return a few days early without playing in any rehab games. Hoskins should immediately return to a near-everyday role for the Brewers, though he may see more action as a DH as he gets his hamstring used to playing in games again. Owen Miller was optioned to Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Today, 3:42 pm
    • Triple, three RBI in win
Soto went 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBI in Thursday's win over the Angels while also drawing two walks.

Advice: The right fielder walked in his second plate appearance before coming around to score on a home run from Aaron Judge. Soto would later add a bases-loaded triple in the seventh as he reached base three times for the second consecutive game. He's up to 24 RBI in the month of May, and his 49 RBI on the season have him tied for second in MLB with Marcell Ozuna, behind only Jose Ramirez's 57. Rotowire.com Today, 6:47 am

    • Juan Soto triples home three against Angels
Juan Soto hit a three-run triple to help the Yankees to a win Thursday over the Angels.

Advice: Soto also drew a pair of walks. The three-run triple extended New York’s lead to 7-1, and gave the 25-year-old 49 RBI; tying him for second in the majors. Soto has been outstanding in his first year in pinstripes, and there’s loads of reasons to believe he’ll continue this good run over the next 100-plus games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:24 pm

    • Yields four runs in loss
Gilbert (3-3) took the loss against Houston on Thursday, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out five batters over six innings.

Advice: Gilbert began his outing with three scoreless frames, but homers by Alex Bregman and Victor Caratini plated three runs for the Astros across the fourth and fifth innings. Gilbert still had a chance to extend his three-game quality-start streak, but that was extinguished when he gave up another run in the sixth. The right-hander still has a solid 3.29 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over 76.2 innings on the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:15 pm
    • Hangs on for ninth save
Duran picked up the save Thursday against the Royals, allowing two unearned runs on a hit and a walk in the ninth inning.

Advice: Protecting a three-run lead in the ninth inning, Duran would allow a pair of runs on Bobby Witt's two-out single following a walk and a Carlos Santana error. However, Duran would coax a game-ending groundout from Vinnie Pasquantino, earning his ninth save in as many chances to open the year. While he's been a bit shaky of late, Duran's now gone five appearances (4.1 innings) without allowing an earned run. His ERA is down to 3.21 with a 1.21 WHIP despite him averaging just 8.36 K/9, down from his career mark of 11.63. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:15 pm
