    • Knocks in three runs Monday
Soto went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and three RBI in Monday's 14-4 thrashing of Philadelphia.

Advice: Though Soto didn't get in on the six homers New York racked up in the victory, he collected the team's only two doubles and was one of three Yankees with three RBI. The slugger has at least three hits on 11 occasions this season and has knocked in at least three runs 12 times. Soto has tallied 10 multi-hit performances over his past 15 games and is slashing .406/.479/.859 with six home runs, 14 RBI, 16 runs and a stolen base over that span. • Two steals in win
Hayes went 0-for-2 with two walks, two stolen bases and one run scored in Monday's 5-3 win over the Astros.

Advice: Hayes is still looking for his first extra-base hit since the All-Star break, and he's batting just .200 (7-for-35) over 10 games in that span. He made an impact with speed Monday, logging his first two steals since July 7. The third baseman has slumped to a .239/.293/.298 slash line with 10 steals, three home runs, 23 RBI, 33 runs scored and nine doubles over 81 contests this season. • Stays warm Monday
Hoskins went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Monday's 8-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Hoskins has tapped into his power with three homers over his last four games and seven long balls over 20 contests in July. The first baseman is at 18 homers on the year, but he's bounced back nicely after lacking in power in June. For the season, he's slashing .219/.309/.442 with 55 RBI, 35 runs scored, two stolen bases and nine doubles over 327 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:05 pm

    • Smacks homer in win
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 8-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Chourio has six multi-hit efforts and three homers over his last eight games, batting .424 (14-for-33) in that span. The outfielder's surge to start the second half has him up to a .262/.307/.424 slash line with 12 homers, 44 RBI, 46 runs scored and 12 stolen bases over 93 contests this season. Chourio's place in the lineup should be even safer over the final two months with Christian Yelich (back) having an uncertain timeline to return. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:02 pm

    • Goes deep in loss
Raleigh went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Monday's 14-7 loss against the Red Sox.

Advice: Raleigh went back-to-back with Randy Arozarena in the sixth inning and extended a hitting streak to five games, which ties his longest this season. Raleigh launched his 23rd homer, which leads all MLB catchers in the current campaign. The 27-year-old has been hot in the month of July with nine home runs in 22 games. Raleigh has also racked up eight multi-hit games in July, the same amount he had in his previous 80 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:54 pm

    • Tagged for seven runs
Gilbert (6-7) took the loss Monday against the Red Sox, allowing seven runs on seven hits over 2.2 innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Gilbert got through the first two innings clean and then proceeded to allow all seven of his runs with two outs in the third before being pulled. The 2.2 innings is his shortest start of the season and his shortest since 2021. The seven runs allowed are his second most this season, he also allowed four extra-base hits, which is tied for his most in any start in 2024. This can be chalked up to a bad night for the 27-year-old, as he entered Monday with a 1.85 ERA in his previous seven starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:41 pm
    • Rhys Hoskins homers, plates two in victory
Rhys Hoskins homered and drove in two runs in a win over Atlanta on Monday.

Advice: Hoskins got the Brewers on the board with his 18th homer of the season in the fifth off an otherwise impressive Grant Holmes. He plated another with a sac fly in the eighth to make the score 8-2 Milwaukee. Hoskins has homered in back-to-back games, and this is a hitter that is well known for his streakiness. This could be the start of a good one. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:46 pm

    • Jackson Chourio swats two-run shot against Atlanta
Jackson Chourio hit a two-run homer in a victory for the Brewers over Atlanta on Monday.

Advice: Chourio extended the Brew Crew’s lead to 7-2 with a two-run shot in the eighth inning. The 20-year-old has now gone deep 12 times in his rookie campaign, and that longball along with a single improves his slash to .262/.307/.424. Very solid work, especially when you consider the age Chourio is. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:46 pm

    • Logan Gilbert melts down in ugly loss to Red Sox
Logan Gilbert was obliterated for seven runs over 2 2/3 innings on Monday in a loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: It certainly wasn’t Gilbert’s night at historic Fenway Park as he was lit up for seven runs for the first time since an eight-run implosion against the Twins back on May 9. The 27-year-old right-hander retired the first six batters he faced in this one before everything fell apart in the third inning when he was ultimately charged with seven runs, with all of them coming with two outs in the frame. He finished with four strikeouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. On a positive note, he generated an absurd 14 swinging strikes in the abbreviated outing, which lends to some optimism going forward. He’ll aim for better results on Sunday in a challenging home matchup against the Phillies. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:17 pm
