• Leaves early Saturday
Benintendi exited Saturday's contest against the Brewers in the bottom of the third inning with left Achilles tendinitis.

Advice: Benintendi launched a solo home run off Robert Gasser in the top of the third inning, delivering the White Sox an early 1-0 lead, before leaving the game in the bottom half of the frame. Dominic Fletcher took over in the outfield and more information on Benintendi's status will likely come following the contest. Rotowire.com Today, 2:14 pm

The Red Sox will close out its series against Detroit on Sunday before getting a day off Monday. Expect more information regarding Grissom's injury after Saturday's game Rotowire.com Today, 2:00 pm

  • Swipes first bag of 2024
Hayes went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 5-3 extra-innings loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: The steal was his first of the year, after he'd swiped 30 over the prior two seasons combined. Hayes missed most of May with back trouble, which could help explain his lack of activity on the basepaths, and Friday's single was his first hit of any kind since May 5. The third baseman has a disappointing .237/.318/.311 slash line through 36 games with one homer and 12 RBI, but if he can stay healthy he's capable of heating up over the summer. • Steals 17th bag
Young went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: The 24-year-old center fielder has heated up again, batting .345 (10-for-29) over the last 10 games. Young remains limited as a fantasy asset -- he has yet to hit a homer this year and has a 4.5 percent walk rate -- but he tends to take full advantage when he does get on base. He's slashing .279/.338/.329 through 46 big-league games with 17 steals in 20 attempts, plus 14 RBI and 25 runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:25 am
  • Taking seat Wednesday
Benintendi is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Corey Julks will draw the start in left field while Benintendi retreats to the bench for the series finale. Benintendi manned left field in the first two games versus Toronto and recorded three hits over eight at-bats. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:11 pm
  • Avoids IL, but could need time off
Megill (elbow) could be unavailable to pitch for a few days, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Megill was struck on the right elbow by a comebacker in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs. While X-rays came back negative and he has avoided the injured list for the time being, Megill might need a little time for the elbow to calm down. Joel Payamps would seem to be the most likely candidate for saves while Megill is unavailable. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:08 pm
  • Resting for second game of twin bill
Hayes is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Tigers.

Advice: After being activated from the injured list Tuesday, Hayes had to wait a day to make his return to the lineup due to a rainout creating a doubleheader Wednesday. He started at third base and played all eight innings in the field in the Pirates' 8-0 loss in the first game of the day, going 0-for-2 with a walk. Hayes should settle back into an everyday role at the hot corner, but the Pirates won't have him play two full games in his first day back in the lineup. Jared Triolo will fill in for him at third base in the second game of the day. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:33 pm
  • Trevor Megill (elbow) expects to avoid IL stint
The Brewers aren’t currently planning to put Trevor Megill on the IL after he was hit in the right elbow by a comebacker in Tuesday’s game.

Advice: Megill won’t be available today and might still need a couple of more days afterwards, but the Brewers are pleased with how things look right now. Joel Payamps might pick up a save or two while Megill is down. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:33 pm
