    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. with two hits, home run
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI against the Yankees on Friday.

Advice: Guerrero has played well of late despite trade rumors about him swirling. The homer was his seventh of June when he had just five all season entering the month. His hot streak has been relatively understated because of how horrible the Blue Jays have been as a team. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago
    • Marcus Stroman yanked in fifth inning
Marcus Stroman allowed three earned runs across 4 1/3 innings on Friday against the Blue Jays. He struck out three, walked three in a no-decision.

Advice: Stroman labored through two very long innings against the Blue Jays. He could not put them away despite not allowing much hard contact and many long-at bats drove his pitch count up. Stroman’s strikeouts have sunk this year while he’s allowing more walks showing diminished velocity overall. His 3.29 ERA may be a bit of a mirage. Rotoworld 30 minutes ago
    • Austin Riley homers again
Austin Riley went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, walk, and two runs scored on Friday against the Pirates.

Advice: Remember when Riley was having a bad season? Me neither. The homer was his ninth this season and fifth in two weeks as his OPS rose to .749. He and the Braves lineup have finally turned the corner. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • X-rays negative, but not in lineup
The X-rays on Rutschman's right hand came back negative, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports, but Rutschman is not in Friday's lineup against the Rangers.

Advice: Rutschman's throwing hand was hit by a foul tip early on in Thursday's game versus the Rangers, although he finished the contest and even homered. He's feeling better Friday and should be fine, but the Orioles have elected to give him a day of rest. James McCann will do the catching for Albert Suarez. Rotowire.com Today, 1:22 pm

    • X-rays come back negative for Adley Rutschman
Orioles’ manager Brandon Hyde told reporters on Friday that X-rays on the injured right hand of catcher Adley Rutschman came back negative for any fractures.

Advice: The 26-year-old backstop injured his hand when he was hit by a foul tip during Thursday’s victory over the Rangers. Rutschman admitted to being a bit sore on Friday but said that he felt much better overall. Rutschman is not in the O’s lineup on Friday night, but he shouldn’t be looking at any sort of extended absence. Rotoworld Today, 1:20 pm

    • Out against left-hander
Lowe is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: With southpaw Mitchell Parker on the hill for the Nationals, the left-handed hitting Lowe will begin this one on the bench. Jonny DeLuca will occupy right field. Rotowire.com Today, 12:08 pm

    • Goes deep again Thursday
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, two total runs and two total RBI against the Yankees in a 9-2 win Thursday.

Advice: Guerrero both started and capped the scoring in the contest with an RBI double in the first inning and a solo homer in the sixth. The first baseman recorded his fourth straight multi-hit game, a span in which he's gone 9-for-19 with with three homers and 11 RBI. Guerrero has gone deep four times across his past six games after hitting just seven homers in his first 74 contests of the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:50 pm
    • India stays red hot with two-hit game Thursday
Jonathan India went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and an RBI against the Cardinals on Thursday.

Advice: India started the game with a single and scored on Elly De La Cruz’s RBI triple. In the second inning, he had an RBI double to give the Reds a 2-0 lead. India is now on a nine-game hitting streak and he’s 17-for-33 (.515) in that stretch. In June, he’s 30-for-80 (.375) with 18 runs scored and 14 RBI in 24 games. India’s average is up to .272 on the season with a .771 OPS and 32 RBI.

    • Played through hand injury
Rutschman had his right hand wrapped following Thursday's game against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Rutschman had a ball tipped off his hand early in the game and remained in the lineup. He still managed to blast his 15th home run in the seventh inning, suggesting the injury isn't serious. However, manager Brandon Hyde said Rutschman's hand could swell up overnight, potentially impacting his availability Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:53 pm
