The home run was his 16th of the season to go along with 48 RBIs.       Advice: He touched up Walker Buehler in the first inning to give the Reds an early lead. As Mark Sheldon of MLB.com notes, Steer has now gone deep in back-to-back games after entering the series without a homer since May 1 (17 games). His struggles from the middle of the order this month have led the Reds to the cellar in the NL Central, though it's certainly not all his fault.       Taylor Ward went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run against the Guardians on Saturday.

      Advice: Ward supplied all the offense for the Angels as they lost this one 4-3. The home run was his 11th of the season. After somewhat of a down season last year, Ward has regained his power stroke. His .211 ISO would be a career-high and his .271 average is also solid for the career .257 hitter.       Spencer Steer homered for the second consecutive game on Saturday, helping to power the Reds to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Dodgers.

      Advice: Steer got the scoring started in the opening inning on Saturday, crushing a 362-foot (94.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Walker Buehler.       Steer went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer, a walk and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Dodgers.

      Advice: Steer got the Reds' offense started with a three-run blast in the first inning. He snapped a 17-game homerless drought, during which he'd posted an unsightly .527 OPS.
