• Nick Gonzales has three hits in win
Nick Gonzales went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: It was a much-needed strong game for Gonzales, who came into today hitting just .224 in 20 games in June. The 25-year-old is still barreling the ball 11 percent in 2024 but his groundball rate has gone up to 52 percent in June and he’s pulling the ball more, which has led to more rollover groundballs and fewer line drives all over the field. He remains a consistent part of the Pirates lineup but more games like this would be nice to see. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:29 pm

  • Taylor Walls has three hits in win
Taylor Walls went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI in a win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Advice: Walls is now up to a robust .175/.277/.250 slash line since coming off the IL on June 7th. Still, the Rays continue to start him almost every game at shortstop due to his plus defense. Walls will likely never hit enough to be in fantasy lineups, but his presence in the Tampa Bay lineup will put a damper on the fantasy value of Brandon Lowe and Jose Caballero, who are splitting time at second base as a result. • Gunnar Henderson socks 25th homer in O’s loss
Gunnar Henderson went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer on Tuesday in the Orioles’ loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Henderson took Guardians lefty Logan Allen deep in the opening frame for his 25th big fly of the season as part of another multi-hit performance. The 22-year-old franchise cornerstone has lived up to fantasy managers’ lofty expectations entering the year by delivering a robust .282/.383/.607 triple-slash line with 69 runs scored, 25 homers, 55 RBI and 13 steals over 78 contests. • To miss a few more weeks
Baez (back) won't be with the Tigers during their road trip that ends July 7 and will require an "extensive" rehab assignment, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Advice: Baez became eligible to return from the IL on June 19, but manager AJ Hinch noted Tuesday that the shortstop won't travel with Detroit during its 10-game road trip that kicks off Thursday. Even once Baez is cleared for game action, he'll need to make several appearances in the minors before being activated from the IL. Given the current timeline, Baez could be held out until after the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:44 pm

  • On bench as expected
Arcia (head) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Arcia was expected to miss Tuesday's game after being lifted from Monday's contest due to dizziness. Zack Short will fill in at shortstop and Arcia should be considered day-to-day moving forward. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:34 pm

  • David Hamilton absent from Tuesday’s lineup
David Hamilton is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Hamilton has been playing through a lingering side issue of late and will take a seat on Tuesday night at Fenway Park with veteran righty Kevin Gausman on the mound for Toronto. The 26-year-old speedster figures to make an appearance off the bench at some point in the contest. It’ll be Enmanuel Valdez taking a turn at the keystone to open the game. • Edmundo Sosa returns to lineup on Tuesday
Edmundo Sosa (elbow) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Tigers.

Advice: Sosa is back in Philadelphia’s lineup to face Detroit ace Tarik Skubal after missing a couple games due to a left elbow contusion. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:18 pm

  • Sitting out Tuesday
Stott is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Detroit.

Advice: Southpaw Tarik Skubal is getting the ball for the Tigers on Tuesday, so it's a sensible spot to give Stott a day off. Edmundo Sosa is handling second base for the Phillies on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:15 pm

  • Back in action Tuesday
Sosa (elbow) will start at second base and bat sixth in Tuesday's game in Detroit.

Advice: Sosa had to depart a game over the weekend after being hit in the left elbow by a pitch, but he's ready to roll now. He and his teammates will be tasked in trying to solve Tarik Skubal on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:11 pm
