• Tyler Black takes seat against right-hander
Tyler Black is on the bench against a righty Monday for the first time since being recalled last week.

Advice: Black sat against a lefty in his first day back in the majors, but he had started versus four straight righties since. Tonight, though, the Brewers wanted to give Christian Yelich a day off his feet and put him in the DH spot. Black is 3-for-11 with three walks since being recalled. The Brewers aren’t currently interested in putting Black anywhere other than first base or DH, so when Yelich or someone else besides Rhys Hoskins DHs, there’s no room for Black. • Absent from lineup
Black is not in the lineup for Monday's tilt versus the Rangers.

Advice: Black was in the lineup for each of the last four games against right-handers following his recall from Triple-A Nashville, but he'll begin this one on the bench as the Rangers send righty Michael Lorenzen to the bump. Rhys Hoskins is at first base and Christian Yelich will occupy the designated hitter spot. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:19 pm

  • Activated, starting Monday
Arias (personal) was reinstated from the family medical emergency list and will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Monday's series opener in Baltimore.

Advice: Cleveland sent infielder Angel Martinez back to Triple-A Columbus to make room on the 26-man active roster for Arias, who rejoins the big club after missing the previous three games while tending to a personal matter. Though he'll immediately enter the lineup in his return to the Guardians as the Orioles send southpaw Cade Povich to the mound, the righty-hitting Arias is expected to serve as a bench player against right-handed pitching more often than not. • Goes deep again Sunday
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Guerrero launched a two-run home run in the top of first inning off Triston McKenzie, giving Toronto an early lead. He later singled and came around to score on a base knock by Addison Barger in the top of the fifth. The homer was his ninth of the season and second of the three-game series with Cleveland. Guerrero has now notched at least one hit in six of his last eight contests, batting .294 with two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored over that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:00 pm
  • Lifts seventh homer
Vientos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Vientos has two homers over his last four contests after going deep in the eighth inning Sunday. The third baseman is up to seven long balls, 18 RBI, 19 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases while slashing .289/.344/.526 over 125 plate appearances. Vientos has been operating in a starting role at the hot corner since Brett Baty was demoted to Triple-A Syracuse at the end of May. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:25 pm

  • Mark Vientos launches solo homer as Mets roll
Mark Vientos smashed his seventh home run of the season on Sunday night as the Mets took care of business against the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Advice: The 24-year-old third baseman demolished a 451-foot (109.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Tyson Miller in the eighth inning that extended the Mets’ lead to 5-2. That would be his lone hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, he’s hitting a healthy .289/.344/.526 with seven homers and 18 RBI. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:22 pm

  • Yandy Díaz homers in Rays’ victory over Pirates
Yandy Díaz went 3-for-4 and homered off Paul Skenes as the Rays topped the Pirates 3-1 on Sunday.

Advice: Díaz’s leadoff homer in the first was the Rays’ only run until they got two off Colin Holderman in the eighth. It was Díaz’s sixth homer of the year. He’s batting .366 during his current 16-game hitting streak. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:14 pm

  • Hitting streak up to 16
Diaz went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Diaz tagged Pirates starter Paul Skenes early, depositing the first pitch of the game off the foul pole in right field for his sixth homer of the season. He later led off the eighth with his third hit, which eventually saw pinch runner Jose Caballero cross the plate with the go-ahead run. Diaz extended his hitting streak to 16 games in the process, collecting his ninth multiple-hit effort during that stretch and fourth multi-hit game over the last five. He's batting 26-for-71 (.366) during the streak. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:25 pm
