      Jared Jones allowed six runs over his 4 2/3 innings while picking up a loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: Jones was not great, and the Pittsburgh bullpen allowed 10 more runs to score in a 16-4 blowout loss to the Rockies. The right-hander gave up six hits, and he also walked four on a night where the command just wasn’t there for the 22-year-old. He still was able to strike out six, and his rookie campaign has certainly been a success even with a couple of so-so outings as of late.       Julio Rodríguez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer to help the Mariners to a 7-5 win over the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: The man they call J-Rod clobbered a cutter that didn’t cut from Nathan Eovaldi into the left-field bleachers to make it 3-0 in the third inning. It’s just the seventh homer of the season for the 23-year-old, but it’s worth noting he’s gone deep in two of the last three games.       Nathan Eovaldi lasted just three innings while allowing four runs with six strikeouts in a loss to the Mariners on Saturday.

      Advice: Eovaldi needed 75 pitches to get through the three frames, and the Rangers called it a day for the 34-year-old after he completed that frame. he allowed four walks and allowed four hits, including a two-run homer to Julio Rodríguez. A rare off-night for Eovaldi, who still has a solid 3.15 ERA even with this disappointing — and not disastrous — effort. He’s scheduled to face the Royals next weekend.       Advice: Santander tied the game on a solo home run in the fourth inning then gave the Orioles the lead on a sacrifice fly in the sixth. He later added a two-run homer in the eighth. Santander continued his June power binge, homering for the eighth time in 15 contests this month.       Anthony Santander went 2-for-2 with two homers, four RBI, and a walk to lead the Orioles to a 6-2 win over the Phillies on Saturday.

      Advice: Santander drew a walk in the second inning, then led off the fourth with a solo homer off Taijuan Walker to tie the game. He later gave the Orioles some insurance runs in the eighth, taking José Ruiz deep for a two-run blast for his second homer of the day. After hitting nine home runs over the first two months, he’s already up to eight while hitting .298 in a red-hot June.       Advice: Munoz has been dealing with a back issue for most of June so far, but he's still seen high-leverage work when available. The right-hander was deployed in the eighth inning Friday against the top of the Rangers' lineup, while Ryne Stanek got the call in the ninth and earned the save. Munoz has picked up three holds and a loss over his last four outings, but it seems this is less about his injury and more about a matchups-based approach to the late innings by manager Scott Servais. Then Santander put one to the warning track in the 10th inning which nearly won the game for Baltimore.
