      Advice: Blanco flirted with his second no-hitter of the season but his elevated pitch count forced him out of the game after seven frames, and the bullpen would give up a hit the next inning. The 30-year-old righty mowed through the Tigers lineup registering eight strikeouts in another impressive showing. However, that luck did not continue as the right-hander went on to surrender at least one run in each of the next three frames while issuing a season-high four walks in the contest.       Advice: Eovaldi needed 75 pitches (46 strikes) to get through three innings, and the Rangers weren't able to get him off the hook for the loss. It's possible the Rangers are still taking it easy on him after a groin injury sidelined him for much of May. Eovaldi has allowed nine runs over 18.2 innings across four starts since he returned from the injured list. He's at a 3.15 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 64:24 K:BB through 60 innings over 11 starts this season.       Advice: Jones was not great, and the Pittsburgh bullpen allowed 10 more runs to score in a 16-4 blowout loss to the Rockies. The right-hander gave up six hits, and he also walked four on a night where the command just wasn’t there for the 22-year-old. He still was able to strike out six, and his rookie campaign has certainly been a success even with a couple of so-so outings as of late.       Julio Rodríguez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer to help the Mariners to a 7-5 win over the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: The man they call J-Rod clobbered a cutter that didn’t cut from Nathan Eovaldi into the left-field bleachers to make it 3-0 in the third inning. It’s just the seventh homer of the season for the 23-year-old, but it’s worth noting he’s gone deep in two of the last three games.
