    • Doubles twice, steals base
Garcia went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored and a steal in Sunday's win over Oakland.

Advice: Garcia doubled and scored in the first inning and knocked an RBI double in the fifth. He's gone 12-for-40 (.300) with six extra-base hits and eight RBI over his last nine games. On the year, Garcia's slash line is up to .249/.294/.402 with 11 stolen bases, 18 extra-base hits and 30 RBI through 46 games. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

    • Fans nine in win
Singer (4-2) allowed a run on six hits and a walk over six innings Sunday, striking out nine and earning a win over the Athletics.

Advice: Aside from an RBI double by Tyler Soderstrom in the fourth inning, Oakland had nothing going against Singer. Out of 10 starts this season, Singer has allowed two or fewer runs in eight of them. He posted a disappointing 5.52 ERA through 159.2 innings last season but has taken a massive step forward in 2024. Singer lowered his ERA to 2.70 with a 61:17 K:BB through 56.2 innings. His next start is lined up to be in Tampa Bay next weekend. Rotowire.com 56 minutes ago

    • Brady Singer strikes out nine, earns win
Brady Singer pitched six innings on Sunday in the Royals 9-4 win over the A’s. He struck out nine, walked one, allowed one earned run, and scattered six hits in a win.

Advice: Singer has been fantastic this season, leaning on his excellent slider as his primary pitch. He threw it 49% of the time on Sunday and it induced eight whiffs. He’s done well in putting his dismal 2023 behind him and will take a 2.70 ERA into his next start on Saturday in Tampa Bay. Rotoworld Today, 2:41 pm

    • Maikel Garcia doubles twice, steals base in win
Maikel Garcia went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base on Sunday against the A’s.

Advice: Garcia has turned it on of late with hits in 19 of his last 21 games. The stolen base was also his 11th of the season, good for sixth most in the league. His strong contact quality and swing decisions point to his hot run continuing. Hitting ahead of Bobby Witt Jr. helps too. Rotoworld Today, 2:39 pm

    • Corbin Burnes fans 11 in defeating Mariners
Corbin Burnes fanned 11 while allowing one run in six innings Sunday as the Orioles bested the Mariners 6-3.

Advice: Burnes matched his season-high for strikeouts; he also fanned 11 on Opening Day. Oddly, he hasn’t struck out more than six in any of his other eight starts. Still, he’s been plenty successful in amassing a 2.56 ERA to date. The win today was his first since April 20. Rotoworld Today, 1:54 pm
    • Jordan Romano nails down seventh save
Jordan Romano struck out the only batter he faced on Sunday to earn the save.

Advice: Romano came on for the last out of the game after Zach Pop allowed a two-run homer to Isaac Paredes and closed the door. Strikeouts have lagged for Romano since returning from the IL and his hold on the closer role could become shaky with Yimi Garcia’s breakout. Rotoworld Today, 1:42 pm
    • Isaac Paredes homers in loss
Isaac Paredes hit a two-run home run on Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Paredes’ homer was the only sign of life for the Rays’ offense on Sunday as they were stifled by Alek Manoah for seven innings. Paredes continues to prove his doubters wrong with a .309 batting average, .916 OPS, and nine home runs on the season. Rotoworld Today, 1:41 pm

    • Sitting Sunday
Doyle is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazettereports.

Advice: Doyle has a .962 OPS in his past 10 games but will take a seat Sunday after making 23 straight starts. Jordan Beck will man center field and bat seventh in the series finale at San Francisco. Rotowire.com Today, 11:42 am

    • Throws from Dodger Stadium mound
Kershaw (shoulder) threw a bullpen session on the field at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Kershaw has thrown multiple bullpens in recent weeks, though this was the first one that took place on the field. The left-hander is building back up slowly from offseason shoulder surgery and isn't expected to be ready to join Los Angeles until at least mid-July. When Kershaw does return, it's unclear how the Dodgers will adjust their rotation given that back-end starters James Paxton and Gavin Stone have both been pitching relatively well.
