    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago
    • Falls to Nats
Morton (3-3) took the loss Saturday against Washington, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits over five innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The Nationals got to Morton early Saturday, scoring three runs in the first two innings. The 40-year-old Morton has had a tough time with Washington this year, yielding 12 earned runs over 10.2 innings in two starts against the Nats. His ERA now sits at 4.12 on the season with a 1.30 WHIP and 68:28 K:BB across 67.2 innings. Morton will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week at home versus Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago
    • Takes loss versus Royals
Castillo (5-7) pitched five innings, allowing five runs on six hits while striking out four and walking one in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

Advice: Castillo had a tough outing as he gave up a season-high five runs in his seventh loss of the season. His offense gave him the lead two separate times Saturday, but he gave it back each time as he snapped a streak of 10 straight starts allowing two earned runs or fewer. Castillo remains one of the more consistent and durable starters this season, he's gone at least five innings in all of his 14 starts and will take a 3.35 ERA into his next outing. • Camilo Doval locks down 11th save vs. Rangers
Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save against the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Doval was summoned with a two-run lead to close out the game in the ninth. He walked the leadoff man and gave up a single to bring the go-ahead run to the plate with one out. He induced a groundout and a fly out to end the game and secure the win for the Giants, picking up his 11th save. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago
    • Charlie Morton surrenders five runs in loss
Charlie Morton allowed five runs -- four earned -- with three strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Morton hit a batter and allowed a base hit to put two runners on in the first inning before Eddie Rosario drove in two runs with a double. The Nationals brought a run in to score on two hits in the second. A pair of doubles in the fourth inning made it four runs for the Nationals. Morton tossed one more inning, ending his day after five frames. The 40-year-old right-hander will carry a 4.12 ERA,, 1.30 WHIP, and a 68/28 K/BB ratio across 67 2/3 innings into a start against the Rays in Atlanta on Friday. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago
    • Luis Castillo struggles in loss to Royals
Luis Castillo gave up five runs over five innings while allowing four strikeouts against the Royals on Saturday in a loss.

Advice: Castillo allowed six hits and issued a walk while striking out four. It was easily his worst start since April, as the 31-year-old had gone 10 straight starts while allowing no more than three runs, and only one of those outings saw him give up more than two. It happens. Castillo still has a healthy 3.35 ERA on the season over 14 efforts, and he gets to face the lowly White Sox next week. Rotoworld Today, 3:34 pm
    • Big day across the pond
Harper went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Mets.

Advice: After doubling in the first inning, Harper got the Phillies on the board in the fourth with a solo shot off Sean Manaea, his 15th homer this year. Harper had been slumping a bit prior to the Phillies trip to London -- he'd gone 7-for-36 (.194) with just one home run in his previous 10 contests. Overall, the 31-year-old Harper is slashing .276/.384/.535 on the year with 45 RBI and 36 runs scored across 258 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 2:11 pm

    • Bryce Harper homers, Phillies crush Mets in London
Bryce Harper went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday’s London Series opener, leading the Phillies to a commanding 7-2 victory over the division-rival Mets.

Advice: Harper predictably stole the spotlight during Saturday’s highly-anticipated London Series opener, becoming the first Phillies batter to record a hit in England with a first-inning double before taking Mets starter Sean Manaea deep to right field a couple frames later for his 15th round-tripper of the season. He ended up with three hits, falling just a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. Rotoworld Today, 1:06 pm

    • Counsell: Nico Hoerner has small fracture in hand
Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Saturday that Nico Hoerner has been diagnosed with a small fracture in his right hand.

Advice: Counsell added that team doctors are comfortable with Hoerner returning to action if the pain and swelling subside in his right hand. It sounds like the club is going to take a few additional days before making a decision on whether he’ll require a trip to the injured list. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.
