    • Hits leadoff homer Saturday
Abrams went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, two total runs and two total RBI in an 8-1 win against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Abrams didn't wait long to make his presence felt, swatting a 396-foot homer to lead off the contest. It was the 13th long ball of the campaign for the shortstop, and he's well on pace to surpass the 18 home runs he hit during his first full big-league season last year. Abrams hasn't been as successful as a runner this season -- he's just 13-for-22 in stolen-base attempts after going 47-for-51 in 2023 -- but he's otherwise shown growth in nearly every offensive category, slashing .278/.334/.498 with 20 doubles, five triples, 50 runs and 42 RBI through 328 plate appearances. • Notches 12th save
Scott struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 12th save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Phillies.

Advice: The southpaw delivered his eighth straight scoreless appearance on 12 pitches (eight strikes), and Scott has racked up four saves in four trips to the mound over the last week. The 29-year-old closer has put his shaky start to 2024 firmly behind him, and he sports a 1.50 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 38:23 K:BB through 36 innings while converting 12 of 14 save chances. • Tanner Scott locks down 12th save vs. Phillies
Tanner Scott tossed a clean ninth inning with two strikeouts to earn the save against the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Scott was summoned in the ninth inning to close out the game with a one-run lead. He shut the door quickly on the Phillies, striking out two batters in a perfect frame for his 12th save of the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:49 pm
    • Abrams blasts 13th home run vs. Rays Saturday
CJ Abrams went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, a walk and two RBI against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Abrams’ home run was his 13th of the season. He started the game with a home run off Aaron Civale in the first inning. Abrams is hitting .282 with an .852 OPS and 42 RBI on the season.

    • Ian Happ swats go-ahead two-run homer vs. Cubs
Ian Happ went 1-for-2 while hitting a go-ahead two-run homer to help the Cubs to a 5-3 win over the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: With the score tied at 3-3, Happ blistered a homer to right-center with Seiya Suzuki on board to give the Cubs the two-run lead and ultimately the victory. It’s the second big roundtripper for Happ in three days, as he hit a go-ahead homer in the 10th against San Francisco on Thursday. Over his 78 games, Happ is now hitting .231/.346/.422 with 11 homers, 44 RBI and seven stolen bases. A solid — if unspectacular — first half. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:47 pm

    • Aaron Judge reaches three times against Jays
Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Judge knocked a base hit in the first inning, then drew an intentional walk in the third. With another single in the fifth, Judge drove in the first run of the game for New York. The 32-year-old slugger is slashing an MVP-esque .313/.434/.700 with 30 homers, 64 RBI, and 80 RBI across 365 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:04 pm

    • CJ Abrams in Saturday’s lineup after HBP on Friday
CJ Abrams (wrist) is in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Rays.

Advice: Abrams is back at shortstop and leading off on Saturday after being hit by a pitch twice during Friday’s game -- first on his right arm by an 89 mph cutter in the first inning and then on his left wrist by an 88 mph offering a couple frames later. The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative and the issue didn’t seem to impact the cyst that he’s been dealing with near that left wrist. All indications are that he’s good to go this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:40 am
    • Three hits Friday
Rafaela started at shortstop and went 3-for-4 with a double in Friday's 9-2 loss to San Diego.

Advice: Rafaela is having a productive June, but he entered the game on a 1-for-18 run. The multi-hit effort was his eighth of the month, and the infielder/outfielder is batting .417 (20-for-48) over the last 13 games. This was his third start at shortstop in as many appearances, as manager Alex Cora adjusts to get his hottest bats in the lineup; Jarren Duran slotted in as the center field while David Hamilton manned second base Friday. • Collects three hits Friday
Judge went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBI in a 16-5 win against the Blue Jays on Friday.

Advice: It was unusual for Judge rack up three hits without any going for extra bases -- coming into Friday, 54 of his 88 hits on the season had been of the extra-base variety. Nonetheless, the slugger's ninth-inning, two-run single resulted in a sixth game with at least one RBI over his past 10 contests. Judge has been red hot over that stretch, slashing .382/.462/.853 with five home runs, 16 RBI and nine runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:20 am
