Bradish overpowers White Sox in win on Sunday
Kyle Bradish threw seven shutout innings in a win over the White Sox on Sunday, walking four and striking out 11.
Advice: Bradish’s fastball velocity was down a bit, but he was still sitting 94.8 mph and induced 13 whiffs for a 31 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. While he was also facing the White Sox, Bradish has looked every bit the pitcher we saw last year and now has a 1.75 ERA. He also has an elbow injury that has not been surgically repaired, so there will continue to be an aura of risk that surrounds him. Unless you’d prefer to trade him to avoid the headache, your only real chance is to keep starting him while he’s throwing this well and just hope he stays healthy. He should have another good start against the Rays next weekend.
