    • Up to 55 pitches
Miller (shoulder) gave up three earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four over three innings Sunday in his first rehab start for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.

Advice: Miller's lack of effectiveness prevented him from building up much from the 51-pitch simulated game he logged Tuesday, as he threw only 55 pitches (38 strikes) in his first rehab start. It's unclear how many more rehab outings he will need, but Miller will certainly make at least one more start in the minors before rejoining the big-league rotation. • Could miss four-plus weeks
Acuna (knee) said Sunday that he wouldn't be surprised if he misses a month, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Acuna told reporters he was going on the 10-day injured list and said the discomfort is more like what he felt in 2018 than what he dealt with in 2021 when he tore his ACL. Acuna had a significant limp as he was moving around the clubhouse after Sunday's game, in which he collapsed in the top of the first inning when trying to go back to second base and needed assistance getting down the dugout stairs. He said he did not hear a pop, but Monday's MRI results still loom large. In Acuna's absence, Jarred Kelenic and Adam Duvall could play more against same-handed pitchers. • Ronel Blanco returns with stellar start in win
Ronel Blanco allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Blanco struck out six and walked one, allowing just a solo home run to Max Schuemann in his outing. He induced 17 whiffs for a 31 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. He got right back to doing what he was doing after his controversial suspension, and he now has a 1.99 ERA on the season to go along with a 5-0 record. He has a tougher test against the Twins next week but should be started against pretty much every offense right now while he’s pitching like this. Rotoworld Today, 4:05 pm

    • Four hits Sunday
Guerrero went 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 14-11 defeat to the Tigers.

Advice: Guerrero stayed hot Sunday, recording his fifth multi-hit game over his last 10 contests. During that span, Guerrero is batting a torrid .410 with six RBI and seven runs scored. The 25-year-old has recovered from his slow start to the season as his average now sits above .300 on the year. Rotowire.com Today, 3:34 pm
    • Ranger Suárez struggles with command in loss
Ranger Suárez allowed five runs (four earned) on three hits in six innings in a loss to the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Suárez struck out nine but also walked four and threw just 42 percent of pitches in the strike zone. He did rack up an impressive 39 percent whiff rate but he had just 12 called strikes on the day, compared to 19 whiffs. Given that this game was in Colorado, we can give Suárez a little bit of a pass; however, he might still be a solid sell-high candidate if a fantasy manager in your league values him as a top 20-25 starting pitcher the rest of the way. He’ll take a 1.75 ERA into a start against the Cardinals next week. Rotoworld Today, 3:24 pm
    • Bobby Miller goes 55 pitches in first rehab start
Bobby Miller (shoulder) threw 55 pitches over three innings in his first minor league rehab start at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday.

Advice: All that really matters is that the right-hander made it through the start healthy and feeling good. The 25-year-old hurler did allow three runs on four hits and a pair of walks in the ballgame while punching out four. He generated 12 swings and misses on the afternoon. He’s likely to need at least two additional rehab starts before he’s ready to return to the Dodgers’ rotation. Rotoworld Today, 3:11 pm

    • Ronald Acuña Jr. (knee) heading to injured list
Ronald Acuña Jr. (knee) told reporters after Sunday’s game that he’ll be placed on the injured list on Monday.

Advice: The 26-year-old superstar elaborated, saying that the injury feels like the same injury that he dealt with in 2018 on his left knee, and that he expects to miss around a month as he did at that time. Presumably, he’ll head for an MRI to determine the full extent of the injury, but either way it sounds like the Braves — and fantasy managers — are going to be without the top overall pick in fantasy leagues for a while. • Set to go on IL
Acuna (knee) told reporters following Sunday's 8-1 win over the Pirates that he will go on the 10-day injured list, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Acuna collapsed in the top of the first inning of Sunday's game after planting his left leg when trying to go back to second base. He exited with trainers following the injury and was helped down the dugout stairs. Acuna noted after the game that it didn't feel like the ACL tear he sustained in his right knee in 2021, which is good news for Atlanta, but the 26-year-old superstar will be sidelined for at least 10 days. Manager Brian Snitker said that the severity of Acuna's injury won't be known until he's evaluated Monday. Acuna is slashing .246/.348/.356 with four home runs, 15 RBI and 16 stolen bases over 191 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:01 pm

    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. goes 4-for-5, doubles
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI against the Tigers on Sunday.

Advice: The double left his bat at 117.0 mph, one of his hardest-hit balls of the season. It’d be nice if it came with a little more power, but Guerrero is batting .407 this month, raising his OPS from .678 to .820. Rotoworld Today, 12:27 pm
