    • Byron Buxton homers, plates four to sink Mariners
Byron Buxton went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and four RBI on Saturday, powering the Twins to a decisive 5-1 victory over the Mariners.

Advice: Buxton served as Minnesota’s primary offensive catalyst on Saturday night at T-Mobile Park, smacking a tie-breaking RBI double into the left-field corner off Seattle starter Bryce Miller in the fourth inning before walloping a three-run shot - his eighth round-tripper of the year - off reliever Trent Thornton a few frames later. The 30-year-old center fielder got off to an extremely frosty start at the dish this season, but he’s been on fire over the last few weeks, batting .389 (21-for-54) with five homers and two steals over his last 15 games. There will be ebbs and flows with Buxton over the next few months, but he should undoubtedly be rostered in all fantasy formats until further notice. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago
    • Luis Rengifo collects 21st steal in Angels’ win
Luis Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a stolen base on Saturday in the Angels’ extra-inning victory over the Tigers.

Advice: Rengifo continues to excel as an extremely versatile under-the-radar fantasy contributor as he’s recorded a strong .808 OPS with six homers and 21 stolen bases through 66 games. The 21 thefts are a new career-high mark by a considerable margin as he’s running at a rate we certainly weren’t projecting coming into the year. He’s got a real shot at reaching the 40-steal plateau, which is unreal considering he he’s never stolen more than six bases over a full season since 2019. Rotoworld Today, 3:33 am

    • Griffin Canning gives up five runs in no-decision
Griffin Canning was charged with five runs (four earned) over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Canning surrendered six hits, including a two-run homer to light-hitting backstop Jake Rogers in the sixth inning, which put him on the hook for a potential loss until the Angels’ offense bailed him out in the late innings. He struck out four and also issued a pair of walks. The 28-year-old righty has shown some flashes of fantasy upside over the last few years, but hasn’t quite put it all together. He’ll bring a pedestrian 4.71 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 63/32 K/BB ratio across 93 2/3 innings (17 starts) into a challenging road matchup on Friday against the Cubs. Rotoworld Today, 3:32 am
    • Extends hit streak to 11 games
India went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: India hit an RBI double and scored in the second inning, and then added another RBI double in the seventh. The second baseman is on fire, hitting safely in 11 consecutive games and registering multiple hits in eight straight. He has increased his average to .279 with five home runs, 34 RBI, 38 runs scored and eight steals over 311 plate appearances this season. The 27-year-old will likely continue to hit leadoff until TJ Friedl (hamstring) returns from the injured list. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:45 pm

    • Jonathan India collects two hits in win over Cards
Jonathan India went 2-for-5 with two doubles, one run scored, and two RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: India put the Reds on the board in the third inning with a double to plate Austin Wynns from second base. He then scored on a double by Elly De La Cruz. He later doubled for a second time to drive in one more run in the seventh. The 27-year-old second baseman has had an incredible month, hitting .386 in June. He’s hitting .279/.383/.408 with five homers, 38 runs scored, 34 RBI, and eight steals across 311 plate appearances on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:26 pm

    • Resting versus LHP
Carroll isn't in Arizona's lineup for Saturday's game against Oakland.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Carroll will take a seat Saturday with fellow left-hander Hogan Harris slated to start on the mound. Lourdes Gurriel, Jake McCarthy and Randal Grichuk will start across the D-backs' outfield while Carroll rests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:09 am

    • Corbin Carroll sits Saturday against southpaw
Corbin Carroll is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Athletics.

Advice: It appears to be a routine off day for Carroll with lefty Hogan Harris drawing the starting assignment on Saturday afternoon for Oakland. The 23-year-old’s sophomore campaign hasn’t gone as planned, but he’s shown some signs of life over the last few weeks, batting .253 (22-for-87) with eight extra-base hits (zero homers) and five steals since June 1. The complete lack of over-the-fence pop at the moment remains a massive concern for fantasy managers moving forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:06 am

    • Dropped in order against lefty
Carroll batted seventh and went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's 9-4 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Carroll was dropped from the top of the order to seventh against a left-hander, though it's unclear if this was a specific adjustment for one game or part of a larger plan going forward against lefties. Carroll appeared to put a season-opening slump behind him earlier this month but was 3-for-22 (.136) over seven games entering Friday. It seems odd that manager Torey Lovullo would drop him after a one-week slump. More should be learned Saturday, when the A's scheduled starter is lefty Hogan Harris. • Swipes 14th bag
Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 7-2 win over the Astros.

Advice: The veteran shortstop has flipped the switch in the second half of June. Lindor has racked up three straight multi-hit performances, and over the last 11 contests he's batting a scorching .370 (17-for-46) with two of his 13 homers and four of his 14 steals on the season along with seven doubles, eight RBI and 12 runs.
