      Jesús Luzardo completed six innings in the Marlins 8-0 win over the Mets on Friday. He struck out seven, walked none, and allowed seven hits.

      Advice: Luzardo has been fantastic since returning from the IL, striking out 15 in 11 ⅔ innings across two starts putting a rough start to the season behind him. However, be advised his fastball averaged just 94.7 MPH Friday. That was his lowest mark in a single start this season and after he’s already spent time on the shelf with elbow tightness.       Colton Cowser singled, doubled, walked and drove in a pair of runs on Friday night as the Orioles crushed the Mariners.

      The Dodgers placed Muncy on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain.

      Advice: Muncy last played Wednesday against the Giants and was left out of the starting lineup Thursday against the Reds. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts revealed that Muncy sustained a Grade 1 right oblique strain during batting practice before Thursday's game, and the veteran outfielder will not swing a bat for two-to-three days, per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports.       Jansen (1-1) took the loss Thursday against Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk with two strikeouts over one inning.

      Advice: Jansen took over in the top of the ninth with the game tied but fell to his first loss of the campaign. After striking out Josh Lowe to start off the inning, Jansen yielded a walk, two singles and a sacrifice fly to consecutive batters as the Rays took a 7-5 advantage and the eventual win.       Tyler O’Neill is not in the lineup on Thursday as the Red Sox take on the Rays.

      Advice: After getting off to a torrid start, O’Neill has struggled of late. Since his collision with Rafael Devers in the outfield on April 15th which landed O’Neill on the concussion IL, the outfielder has hit just .219 with three home runs and a 41.5 percent strikeout rate. He was hitting .313 with seven home runs and a 21 percent strikeout rate prior. While the early season sample size is small, it’s worth noting that concussion symptoms can linger, as we saw with Anthony Rizzo last year. Perhaps it’s just a cold stretch, but maybe O’Neill is still feeling some effects of the head injury.
