    • Wilyer Abreu out Sunday against left-hander
Wilyer Abreu is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Abreu will sit again with southpaw Matthew Liberatore on the mound for the Cardinals. Rob Refsnyder will be the starting right fielder and hit second while Abreu retreats to the bench. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago

    • Makes impact late in win
Lowe went 0-for-4 with two RBI in Saturday's 3-2 extra-innings win over the Angels.

Advice: Lowe, who is hitless over his last 13 at-bats, was the late-game hero for the Rangers. He set up extra innings with an run-producing, eighth-inning sacrifice fly, then Lowe was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 13th for the walk-off win. The two RBI five him 14 over 26 games. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

    • Strikes out 10 in win
Lugo (7-1) earned the win Saturday over the Athletics, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out 10 over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Lugo was able to limit the damage to a two-run home run by Seth Brown in the second inning. This was Lugo's second straight start with double-digit strikeouts, though he came up one out short of a fifth straight quality start. The right-hander is now at a 1.79 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 58:13 K:BB through 65.1 innings over 10 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road against the Rays. • Lowe gets plunked in 13th to give Rangers win
Nathaniel Lowe drove in two runs including a walk-off hit-by-pitch in the 13th inning against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: The Angels decided to load the bases with an intentional walk to Corey Seager. It didn’t work out, as Carson Fulmer plunked Lowe to give the Rangers the win. Baseball strategy is a cruel enigma sometimes. Lowe has gotten on at a .391 clip since returning from injury, and he’s driven in 14 runs in 25 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:02 pm

    • Lugo strikes out 10, picks up seventh win Saturday
Seth Lugo allowed two earned runs and struck out 10 in 5 2/3 innings and picked up the win in the Royals’ 5-3 victory over the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: The win was Lugo’s seventh of the season and his ERA is 1.79. His 58 strikeouts are in the top 15 for qualified starters. The Royals can’t ask for more than what they’re getting from him right now and the same goes for fantasy managers. The 34-year-old right-hander is scheduled to face the Rays on the road next weekend.

    • Gets breather Saturday
Mountcastle isn't in the Orioles' lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Mountcastle will get a day to regroup Saturday after going 1-for-16 across his last four games. While he sits, Ryan O'Hearn will pick up a start at first base while Anthony Santander serves as Baltimore's DH, opening up a spot in the outfield for Austin Hays. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:32 am
    • Dazzles in first win of season
Luzardo (1-3) picked up the win Friday, allowing five hits over six scoreless innings in an 8-0 victory over the Mets. He struck out seven without walking a batter.

Advice: After a couple first-inning hits got Francisco Lindor to second base, Luzardo locked in and retired 11 straight batters. All five hits off the southpaw were singles, and he fired 59 of 89 pitches for strikes in his second quality start of the year. After a bumpy first few weeks to the season and then an IL stint, Luzardo appears to be back in form, delivering a 15:1 K:BB in 11.2 innings over two starts since rejoining the rotation. He'll carry a 5.02 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 42:14 K:BB through 37.2 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Brewers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:53 am
    • Jesús Luzardo strikes out seven, earns win
Jesús Luzardo completed six innings in the Marlins 8-0 win over the Mets on Friday. He struck out seven, walked none, and allowed seven hits.

Advice: Luzardo has been fantastic since returning from the IL, striking out 15 in 11 ⅔ innings across two starts putting a rough start to the season behind him. However, be advised his fastball averaged just 94.7 MPH Friday. That was his lowest mark in a single start this season and after he’s already spent time on the shelf with elbow tightness. • Colton Cowser drives in two as Orioles crush M’s
Colton Cowser singled, doubled, walked and drove in a pair of runs on Friday night as the Orioles crushed the Mariners.

Advice: Cowser clubbed a two-run double off of Bryce Miller in the first inning, extending the Orioles’ early advantage to 4-0. With his two-hit attack, the 24-year-old outfielder is now hitting .263/.348/.509 with six homers, 22 RBI and three stolen bases over 40 games on the season. Rotoworld Friday, 6:38 pm
