Bummer isn't seeing the high-leverage work he grew accustomed to with the White Sox, and he's still looking for his first hold of the season.     Baty will be recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to serve as the 27th man during this weekend's series in London versus the Phillies, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

    Advice: Baty was optioned to Syracuse a week ago following a slow start but has gone 3-for-10 with two home runs in his first two games back in the minors. He will likely operate in a reserve role for the two games in London before being sent back down early next week.     Wong went 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox. He was also hit by a pitch.

    Advice: Wong, who is enjoying a breakout campaign, raised his batting average to .327 and OBP to .382. Those career-best marks are heavily influenced by a .387 BABIP, making the backstop a strong sell-high candidate. Per MLB's Statcast, Wong's expected batting average is only .255.     Advice: Benson provided insurance for the Reds with a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning. It was the fourth consecutive game with a hit for Benson, who is 6-for-14 with a double, a triple, five RBI and three runs scored during that stretch.     Beeks picked up five outs for the Rockies in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Cardinals, striking out two while allowing no hits or walks between the eighth and ninth innings.

    Advice: This was a major improvement on Beeks' outing Wednesday, in which he allowed five earned runs and blew the save in a loss to the Reds. The bad news, however, is that the Rockies brought in Tyler Kinley to get the final out and record the save Thursday. Beeks does lead the Rockies with six saves, but the team's closing situation is as muddled as it has been at any point this season.     Advice: It certainly feels like Amador has heard all of the recent chatter regarding his slow start this season at the plate in the upper minors as he’s exploded for six round-trippers over his last eight games for Triple-A Hartford. The 21-year-old top prospect still has plenty of work to do from a batting average standpoint, but the fact that he’s starting to hit for more over-the-fence pop is an extremely encouraging development.
