    Eddie Rosario went 1-for-4 with an RBI double on Friday night as the Nationals fell to the Phillies in Philadelphia.

    Advice: The Nationals had nobody on base with two outs in the fifth inning, when C.J. Abrams and Rosario hit back-to-back doubles off of Zack Wheeler to produce a run and pull the Nats to within two runs at 4-2. That would be as close as they would get.     Advice: Luciano made his 2024 debut Tuesday against the Dodgers when he pinch hit for Mike Yastrzemski in the ninth inning. Luciano started the season with Triple-A Sacramento, posting a .266/.399/.344 line with one home run and 20 RBI over 158 plate appearances before being recalled by the Giants on May 14.     The Dodgers recalled Vargas from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.

    Advice: Vargas has served as Oklahoma City's left fielder all season, slashing .302/.442/.590 with eight homers and 39 RBI across 181 plate appearances. The 24-year-old hasn't found the same success in the majors with a .640 OPS, but he could still draw starts in the outfield on days the Dodgers are matched up against a left-handed starter.     Advice: The 24-year-old has kind of forced their hand with his hot-hitting at the Triple-A Level — slashing .295/.437/.583 with eight homers, 38 RBI and eight stolen bases (in 14 attempts) over 181 plate appearances in 39 games. He played almost exclusively in left field during his time at Triple-A this season, so it’ll be interesting to see how he’s utilized by the Dodgers this time around.
