    • Pops eighth homer
Thomas went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The 28-year-old outfielder took Ryne Nelson deep in the third inning to give the Nationals an early lead that quickly slipped away. Thomas had a tough start to the season due to injuries, but he appears healthy now and back in his 2023 form. He's hit safely in 11 of the last 13 games, slashing .292/.345/.667 over that stretch with five of his eight homers on the year and 12 of his 23 runs. Rotowire.com 56 minutes ago

    • Jake Cronenworth delivers walkoff homer for Padres
Jake Cronenworth hit a walkoff homer off Joel Payamps as the Padres edged the Brewers 7-6 on Thursday.

Advice: Payamps couldn’t possibly have made a worse 3-2 pitch, and Cronenworth deposited the breaking ball 355 feet down the right field line for his 11th homer of the year. That’s one more in 74 games this season than he had in 127 games last year Cronenworth had been in a little 2-for-24 slump since his previous homer on June 11. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:17 pm

    • Collects eighth save
Sewald allowed one hit and struck out one during a scoreless ninth to collect the save Thursday against the Nationals.

Advice: Sewald collected his first save in two weeks, having tossed just 1.1 innings over two appearances during that span prior to Thursday. Despite the inactivity, Sewald needed only eight pitches, tossing six for strikes to thwart the Nationals. Sewald did surrender just his fourth hit allowed over 12.2 innings this season and still has not allowed a run since his initial appearance of the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:15 pm
    • Paul Sewald hurls scoreless frame for save
Paul Sewald allowed a hit and picked up a strikeout in a scoreless inning to get a save against the Nationals on Thursday.

Advice: Sewald has been sensational since returning from the injured list, and the scoreless inning lowers his ERA to a miniscule 0.71. The right-hander also has collected eight saves and will continue to operate as the Diamondbacks closer throughout 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:31 pm
    • Two hits, steal in win
Hamilton started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and an RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Hamilton returned to the starting lineup after dealing with discomfort in his side. He started the scoring with a run-producing single in the third inning and later stole his 20th base of the season. Hamilton has been prominent in the team's recent transition to the "Running Red Sox," as the team has attempted 17 steals (twice caught) over the last four games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:24 am

    • Tosses quality start but takes loss
Crochet (6-6) took the loss against Houston on Wednesday, allowing three runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out eight batters over six innings.

Advice: Crochet racked up a hearty 19 whiffs and eight punchouts, but it wasn't enough to keep him out of the loss column in a contest during which he was supported with just one run. The fact that the three earned runs were the most the left-hander has allowed since April 24 speaks volumes about the quality of his campaign thus far. Crochet has tallied six consecutive quality starts and is tied for 10th in the majors with 10 total on the campaign. He also ranks second in the league with 124 punchouts while posting a 3.25 ERA and 0.95 WHIP through 88.2 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:05 pm

    • Blows save, picks up fifth win
Kimbrel (5-2) earned the win and blew a save against the Yankees on Wednesday, allowing one run on two hits with a strikeout in the ninth inning.

Advice: Kimbrel was called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the ninth inning but allowed a leadoff double by Anthony Volpe and a game-tying single by Giancarlo Stanton. He was able to keep the game tied and the Yankees won in the 10th inning to earn Kimbrel the win. Until Wednesday, Kimbrel had not allowed an earned run since May 8 or blown a save since April 28. On the season Kimbrel is now 16-for-20 in save chances and owns a 2.63 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 39:11 K:BB over 27.1 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:10 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel blows save against Yankees
Craig Kimbrel allowed one run on two hits on Wednesday. He struck out one, blew the save, but wound up grabbing the win.

Advice: Kimbrel let the Yankees tie the game after a lead-off double by Anthony Volpe and single by Giancarlo Stanton. This was his fourth blown save while still sporting a 2.63 ERA. Dillon Tate closed this one out for Baltimore in the 10th inning. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:16 pm

    • Strikes out 12 in win
Bibee (5-2) earned the win against the Mariners on Wednesday, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out 12 over six scoreless innings.

Advice: Bibee was dominant, generating 20 swinging strikes on 93 pitches and surpassing last week's career high in strikeouts with 12. Bibee had allowed seven total runs in his first two June starts, but he bounced back in a big way Wednesday and has registered 30 strikeouts over 16.1 innings in three June outings. On the season, Bibee owns a 3.65 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 99:21 K:BB through 81.1 innings and tentatively lines up against the Orioles early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:49 pm
