      Advice: Jones started in his second straight game since returning from the injured list and has hit fifth and sixth in the order. He delivered his first three-hit effort and only sixth multi-knock performance of the campaign in 29 starts.       Perez (knee) will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

      Advice: Perez is battling a right knee sprain, but it's said to be relatively minor. He'll play through the injury Sunday, albeit in a non-defensive role. It's uncertain when he may return to catching duties. The team recalled Austin Nola from Triple-A Omaha on Saturday, and Nola's presence on the roster affords Perez and the Royals some time to get him right before he slots back in behind the plate.       Advice: Perez was removed Friday after experiencing discomfort in his right knee, and while the backstop did miss Saturday’s game, he’s feeling well enough to be the designated hitter and hit cleanup against the Dodgers in the final game of the three-game set.
