• Seiya Suzuki leaves with apparent injury vs. Reds
Seiya Suzuki has left Fridays game against the Reds with an apparent injury.

Advice: Suzuki was hit with a throw during a stolen base, and the outfielder didn’t appear to be comfortable after. Mike Tauchman has taken over for Suzuki in right field. It’s likely that the 29-year-old will undergo further evaluation before his status going forward is revealed. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

  • Confirmed for Saturday start
Bradish will start Saturday's game against Tampa Bay, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The Orioles' original schedule would have placed Bradish on the mound Thursday against Toronto but he'll get two extra days of rest before taking on the Rays at Tropicana Field. Manager Brandon Hyde said Thursday that Bradish's start wasn't pushed back due to health concerns, so he should be a full go Saturday. Bradish faced the Rays in his last start, yielding five runs over 2.2 innings in a no-decision. Rotowire.com Today, 1:49 pm
  • Taking seat Friday
Lowe is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Baltimore, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe will get a day off with lefty Cole Irvin on the mound for the O's. Randy Arozarena, Jose Siri and Jonny DeLuca will patrol the outfield from left to right Friday. Rotowire.com Today, 12:13 pm

  • On base four times in win
Wong went 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox. He was also hit by a pitch.

Advice: Wong, who is enjoying a breakout campaign, raised his batting average to .327 and OBP to .382. Those career-best marks are heavily influenced by a .387 BABIP, making the backstop a strong sell-high candidate. Per MLB's Statcast, Wong's expected batting average is only .255. • Smashes three-run homer
De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Thursday in an 8-4 victory against the Cubs.

Advice: De La Cruz, on the one-year anniversary of his MLB debut, turned a two-run Reds deficit into a one-run lead with a three-run blast in the third frame. The long ball was his second in three contests following a season-long 21-game homer drought. After tallying 13 homers and 35 steals over 98 games as a rookie last season, De La Cruz is nearing those marks with 11 long balls and 32 thefts through 63 contests in 2024. • Goes deep in loss
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Suzuki took Hunter Greene deep in the third inning for his seventh home run of the season. The outfielder now has three long balls over his last seven games, and he's batting a .308 during that span. Suzuki's numbers don't always jump off the page with a .781 OPS, but he's a fairly consistent contributor who gets plenty of playing time, which allows him to make an impact in most fantasy formats. • De La Cruz blasts 11th home run in win Thursday
Elly De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run against the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: De La Cruz took Javier Assad deep in the third inning for his 11th home run of the season. He’s only hitting .240, but with 11 home runs and 32 stolen bases already De La Cruz is on the fast track to having a first round ADP next season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:48 pm

  • Kyle Bradish won’t make scheduled start on Friday
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said that the entire rotation for the upcoming series against the Rays is “TBD,” meaning Kyle Bradish will have his start pushed back.

Advice: Hyde was quick to say that “there are no health concerns for Kyle Bradish,” but the decision was “just about giving him extra rest.” The right-hander was hit hard in his last start against the Rays last week but has a strong 3.18 ERA in 28 1/3 innings since coming back from an elbow injury. There is no word yet on when Bradish will pitch, but if the Orioles decide to have him skip the entire series then he would face the Braves next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:13 am
  • No health concerns, but start TBD
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Thursday that the decision to push Bradish's next start back isn't related to health concerns, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Advice: Cade Povich was called up from Triple-A Norfolk to start Thursday versus the Blue Jays in what would have been Bradish's turn, but the move was designed simply to give Bradish extra rest. Hyde wasn't ready to commit to when Bradish would make his next start, however, as the Orioles haven't confirmed any of their four starters for their upcoming series with the Rays that begins Friday. Bradish could take the ball one of those days, but having his turn skipped entirely is also a possibility. The right-hander has been excellent overall since coming off the injured list in early May, but he stumbled his last time out, allowing five runs over just 2.2 innings in a no-decision against the Rays last Saturday.
