• Robbie Grossman drives in pair with two hits
Robbie Grossman went 2-for-4 with two RBI in a victory over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Grossman also drew a walk. The left-handed hitter had been really struggling since coming over to the Rangers with just two hits since May 8, but he was able to match that total while bringing home a couple of runners Saturday. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

  • Corey Seager reaches four times in rout of Marlins
Corey Seager went 3-for-5 with a walk in a win for the Rangers over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Seager doubled, singled twice and got on via the aforementioned free pass for a four-reach day. The 30-year-old now has a 14-game hitting streak, and a line of .235/.314/.333 has improved to .270/.362/.485 during that streak. The struggles are over, folks. Rotoworld 30 minutes ago

  • Wyatt Langford drives in pair against Marlins
Wyatt Langford drove in two runs in a victory over the Marlins for the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Langford’s RBI came in garbage time, as he drove in a pair of runs to make it 7-0 in the ninth inning. Still counts. He also struck out three times, but since returning from the injured list Tuesday, Langford has picked up a pair of multi-hit games while driving in three runs. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

  • Ryan Weathers whiffs 11 in loss to Rangers
Ryan Weathers struck out 11 but allowed four runs over six innings in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: The 11 strikeouts are a season-high for Weathers, and it’s the second time he’s reached double digits in 2024. The punchouts are nice, but he also allowed nine hits and four runs, so this was a mixed effort at best from the 24-year-old. Still, it’s nice to see some flashes of what Made Weathers the seventh pick of the 2018 MLB Draft. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago

  • Allows three runs vs. White Sox
Gasser didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out three in five innings.

Advice: All three of the runs against Gasser came via the home-run ball Saturday -- an Andrew Benintendi solo shot in the third inning followed by a two-run blast off the bat of Gavin Sheets in the fourth. It's just the second time in five starts that Gasser's allowed more than one run. Overall, the left-hander is 2-0 with a 2.57 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 16 strikeouts while issuing just one walk through his first 28 innings. Gasser's currently lined up for a road matchup with the Tigers in his next outing. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago

  • Michael Lorenzen blanks Marlins over 6 1/3 in win
Michael Lorenzen didn’t give up a run while firing 6 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts to help the Rangers to a 7-0 rout of the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Lorenzen exited his last start with a trainer, but the injury didn’t appear to effect him whatsoever. The right-hander scattered five hits and issued just two walks in an impressive outing even when considering the lackluster opponent. Lorenzen has been able to work at least six innings in seven of his eight starts, and he’s posted a very strong 2.96 ERA in the process. That’ll play. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

  • Kyle Tucker homers and walks against Twins
Kyle Tucker homered and walked in a victory for the Astros over the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Tucker also drew a walk. The 27-year-old is already up to 19 homers on the season with a .976 OPS to pair with them. Even with the Astros having a disappointing 2024 campaign, Tucker has been as good as he’s ever been over the first two-plus months of the campaign. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago

  • Yordan Alvarez homers twice as Twins top Astros
Yordan Alvarez went 3-for-3 with two homers and three RBI in a 5-2 win Saturday over the Twins for the Astros.

Advice: Alvarez also drew a walk. The 26-year-old slugger took Joe Ryan deep with a runner on in the first, and did more damage against Ryan with a solo shot in the fifth. That ups Alvarez’s total to 11 roundtrippers on the year, and he’s plated 25 over the first 59 games of the season for the Astros. Alvarez has been as good as any hitter in baseball the last few years, and it’s the only reason why those numbers and a .283/.357/.480 slash seem slightly disappointing. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago
