• Logs three-hit night in win
Langford went 3-for-3 with a walk, double and run scored in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Seattle.

Advice: The three-hit performance was the first of the season for Langford. The double was just his fourth extra-base hit over 88 at-bats (.318 slugging, .057 ISO), but the rookie outfielder is getting on base with consistency (.340 OBP, 10.2% walk rate). He's reached base safely in 19 of 23 games and is hitting .261 with a .658 OPS to open his MLB career. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago
  • Busting out against Phillies
Espinal started at second base and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 7-4 win over Philadelphia.

Advice: Espinal has feasted on Phillies' pitching, going 5-for-7 with a home run and five RBI over the first two games of the series. It was his fourth straight start at second base in place of Jonathan India (illness), but the ailing India was available off the bench Wednesday and presumably will be available for the series finale Thursday afternoon. • Delivers against lefty
Benson went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 7-4 win over Philadelphia.

Advice: Benson put the Reds on the board with a solo home run in the third inning off righty Spencer Turnbull, but his biggest hit came three innings later. The lefty hitter delivered the go-ahead run with two outs off lefty Matt Strahm. Benson was a platoon player in 2023 but is getting more opportunities against southpaws this season. It's not always pretty -- 4-for-22 off them thus far -- but manager David Bell let him stay in the game at a high-leverage moment. Benson, who snapped a career-worst 0-for-18 skid in Tuesday's win over the Phillies, is 3-for-9 in the series heading into the finale Thursday afternoon. Rotowire.com Today, 4:57 am

  • Homer, three RBI in win
Taylor went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Taylor jumped on a hanging knuckle-curve from Sean Hjelle in the top of the fourth and sent it into the stands in center field to extend the Mets' lead to three runs. He then added a two-out, two-run double in the fifth, giving the outfielder his third multi-hit performance of the season. Taylor has proven to be a reliable contributor on offense for New York when his number's been called, batting .349 in April with two homers, 12 RBI and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 4:54 am
  • Smacks two homers in win
Lindor went 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Lindor provided most of the offense for the Mets on Wednesday, launching a two-run homer in the top of the third to put New York on the board before then adding a second two-run shot in the ninth. The shortstop finished with season highs in hits (four) and RBI (four), raising his average to .206 in the process. Lindor has gotten off to a slow start to begin the campaign but now registered multiple hits in five of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:41 am
  • Slugs second homer
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Padres on Wednesday.

Advice: Diaz accounted for half of the Rockies' runs in the contest with his solo shot to center field in the eighth inning. The blast snapped a 19-game homerless drought for the backstop, who belted 14 long balls last season. Despite the modest power output thus far, Diaz has had a nice start to the campaign with a .312/.357/.429 slash line and 11 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:52 pm
  • Nabs two thefts in loss
Moore went 2-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases in Wednesday's loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Seattle managed only one run in the contest, but that wasn't due to a lack of production on Moore's part. The utility man collected two of the team's eight hits and put himself in scoring position twice with a pair of steals. Moore is up to five thefts on the campaign, but he's still slashing a meager .214/.358/.357. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:36 pm

  • Swats seventh homer
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run against Seattle in Wednesday's 5-1 victory.

Advice: Garcia put Texas on the board with a 416-foot solo shot in the fourth inning. It was his third long ball over his past six contests, and he is tied for fourth in the majors with seven homers on the season. Garcia has added 23 RBI, 18 runs, four steals and a .312/.359/.613 slash line. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:32 pm
  • Belts fourth homer Wednesday
Carter went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a triple in a 5-1 victory versus the Mariners on Wednesday.

Advice: Carter hit the second of back-to-back homers for Seattle in the fourth inning and added a run-scoring triple in the seventh. The long ball was his second in three games after he went deep just twice over his first 19 contests of the campaign. Carter's average sat below the Mendoza line as recently as April 20, but with two multi-hit games over his past three contests, it's now up to .215. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:29 pm
