    • Anthony Volpe extends on-base streak to 28 games
Anthony Volpe went 1-for-4 with a double on Saturday in the Yankees’ win over the Giants.

Advice: Volpe’s 21-game hitting streak came to an end during Thursday’s series finale against the Angels when he went 0-for-5, but he’s reached base safely in 28 consecutive contests since May 2, which puts him in a tie with teammate Aaron Judge for the longest active streak in the game. The 23-year-old is excelling at the dish in the wake of last offseason’s offensive overhaul to his swing and approach. His .351 on-base percentage will certainly work atop New York’s lineup moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 3:20 am

    • Logan Webb strikes out six in loss to Yankees
Logan Webb gave up four runs over seven innings on Saturday in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Webb fell behind right away in this one when he served up a colossal two-run homer to Aaron Judge in the opening frame. He was tagged for a pair of additional runs in the third inning, but managed to escape further damage, and wound up still completing seven frames to spare San Francisco’s bullpen. He struck out six and only handed out one free pass. The 27-year-old workhorse will carry a strong 2.95 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 67/20 K/BB ratio across 79 1/3 innings (13 starts) into a challenging road matchup on Friday against the Rangers. • Grinds out seven innings
Webb (4-5) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Yankees.

Advice: Webb gave up a pair of runs in the first and third innings, but he was able to eat innings despite the loss. He threw 74 of 108 pitches for strikes, though this ended his run of four straight quality starts. Webb is at a 2.95 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 67:20 K:BB over 79.1 innings across 13 starts this season. After posting a 1.3 BB/9 last year, his walk rate has risen to 2.3 this year, which is in line with previous seasons. Webb is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Rangers. • Earns eighth save
Hader picked up a save against the Twins on Saturday, striking out one batter over a scoreless inning.

Advice: It was a relatively easy save chance for Hader, as he entered with a three-run lead. The southpaw had worked in a non-save situation in each of his previous three appearances, though he's clearly still in control of Houston's closer role. Hader has had a few rough outings this season but is 8-for-9 in save chances and has allowed just three earned runs and struck out 33 batters over his past 19.1 innings. • Launches 14th homer
Harper went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Harper provided the Phillies with extra breathing room, taking St. Louis reliever John King deep in the seventh inning. Over the previous 10 games, Harper took a small step back, batting .257 (9-for-35) with three home runs and seven RBI to close out May. Following his second consecutive multi-hit game, he's batting .276/.381/.538 with 14 homers, 44 RBI, 35 runs scored and three stolen bases over 54 contests this season. • Harper hits 14th home run in win Saturday
Bryce Harper went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, a walk and a two-run home run against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: The home run was Harper’s 14th on the season. He scored all three times he was on base and broke the game open with a two-run home run in the seventh inning to put the Phillies ahead 6-1. Harper’s average is up to .276 with a .919 OPS. He now has 44 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:09 pm

    • Two hits, two RBI in win
Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has obviously been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list on May 28. • Wyatt Langford drives in pair against Marlins
Wyatt Langford drove in two runs in a victory over the Marlins for the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Langford’s RBI came in garbage time, as he drove in a pair of runs to make it 7-0 in the ninth inning. Still counts. He also struck out three times, but since returning from the injured list Tuesday, Langford has picked up a pair of multi-hit games while driving in three runs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:09 pm

    • Josh Hader fires scoreless inning for save vs. Twins
Josh Hader worked a scoreless inning to get a save against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Hader did allow a walk and didn’t strike anyone out, but he was able to escape without a run while picking up his eighth save of the season. The 30-year-old should continue to be one of the finest closing options for the remainder of 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:01 pm
