    Taylor Walls (hip) went 2-for-6 for Triple-A Durham on Thursday.

    Advice: Walls played all nine innings in his first rehab game with Triple-A. He’s spent the entire season so far on the injured list as he recovers from hip surgery. He’ll need at least a few more games in Triple-A before the Rays consider bringing him to Tampa Bay. Rotoworld Today, 5:48 am

  • Perfect at plate Thursday
    Lindor went 4-for-4 with a home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-2 win against Arizona.

    Advice: Lindor suffered a swollen finger on a bunt attempt during a game Tuesday, but the issue hasn't caused him to miss any time and certainly didn't seem to impact his swing Thursday. The shortstop collected his second four-hit game of the season, which was highlighted by a 431-foot solo homer in the third inning. Lindor is still batting just .225 on the campaign, but he's hit safely in nine straight contests and has posted a .375 batting average, two homers, four doubles and six RBI over that span.   • Francisco Lindor goes 4-for-4 with homer and steal
    Francisco Lindor went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and a stolen base in a 3-2 win Thursday over the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: Fantasy managers have to be thrilled seeing this one, as Lindor has been a massive disappointment a third of the way through 2024. The homer is the ninth of the season, and the stolen base gives the 30-year-old seven swipes through 2024. Lindor has gotten off to poor starts before only to finish hot, and there’s reason to believe that can happen again. It doesn’t make the previous two months any less frustrating, however.   • J.P. Crawford walks twice, steals base in M’s loss
    J.P. Crawford walked twice and stole a base on Thursday in the Mariners’ shutout loss at the hands of the Astros.

    Advice: Crawford also made one of the highlight reel-worthy defensive plays of the entire season in the seventh inning of this one, flipping the ball to double-play partner Dylan Moore to rob Mauricio Dubón of a surefire single up the middle. The 29-year-old shortstop is batting .231 (9-for-39) with one homer and one steal since returning from the injured list back on May 20. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:45 pm
     
  • Racks up three hits in win
    Winn went 3-for-4 with one RBI in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Reds.

    Advice: Winn extended his hitting streak to 16 games with Wednesday's strong effort out of the No. 8 spot in the order. He's gone 23-for-61 (.377) with eight extra-base hits, 11 RBI and two stolen bases during the streak. Winn is up to a .308/.358/.440 slash line with two homers, seven steals, 18 RBI, 16 runs scored, 11 doubles and two triples over 49 contests this season.     Francisco Lindor went 1-for-4 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Mets’ loss to the Dodgers.

    Advice: Lindor showed zero ill effects, reaching base safely in two of his four plate appearances less than 24 hours after suffering a left index finger contusion during Tuesday’s doubleheader.   • Leaves with hamstring tightness
    Luciano was lifted from Wednesday's game against the Phillies in the bottom of third inning with right hamstring tightness, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. He reached base on a throwing error during his only plate appearance before exiting the contest.

    Advice: Brett Wisely came off the bench to pinch hit for Luciano in the latter's second turn through the batting order. It's unclear whether Luciano first sustained the injury while he was playing shortstop in the top of the third or at some point earlier in the contest, but the Giants should provide more details on his condition after the game. Luciano has been working in the short side of a platoon with the lefty-hitting Wisely at shortstop lately while Nick Ahmed (wrist) is on the injured list. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:47 pm
