    • Extends hit streak to 13 games
Wong went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Reds.

Advice: Wong got the Red Sox started with a two-run home run in the fourth inning, extending a hit streak to 13 games (17-for-48, .354). The catcher, who entered 2024 with a career .232 batting average, is up to .330 for the season. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

    • Limited to three innings versus TOR
McKenzie tossed three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and four walks while striking out six batters in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: McKenzie was challenged early versus Toronto, giving up a two-run home run to Vladimir Guerrero in the top of the first inning. He later gave up a leadoff homer to Spencer Horwitz in the third, which was ultimately his final inning on the mound. McKenzie failed to pitch past the third inning for the second consecutive start Sunday, throwing just 41 of his 74 total pitches for strikes, while the four walks matched his total from his loss Tuesday versus Seattle. The 26-year-old will look to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively set to come Friday on the road against the Royals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:47 pm
    • Picks up save Sunday
Jansen allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to earn a save over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Jansen worked around a two-out single to finish off the 7-4 game. It was about as efficient of an outing as it gets, as he threw 11 of his 12 pitches for strikes. He's now converted 15 of his 16 save chances this season, including 11 straight. Jansen has produced a 2.29 ERA since his last blown save April 16, lowering his season mark to 2.39. • Miguel Andujar collects two hits in loss Sunday
Miguel Andujar went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles as the Athletics were shut out by Pablo Lopez and the Twins on Sunday afternoon in Oakland.

Advice: As a team, the A’s totaled just three hits in the contest, so Andujar did most of the heavy lifting. He singled to left off of Lopez in the seventh inning, then added an infield single off of Griffin Jax with two outs in the ninth inning that momentarily extended the game. Andujar has done a nice job for the A’s this season — slashing .324/.339/.419 with two homers, 14 RBI and one stolen base through his first 109 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:11 pm

    • Triston McKenzie strikes out six in three innings
Triston McKenzie allowed three runs in three innings on Sunday against the Blue Jays. He struck out six and walked four before a rain delay ended his start.

Advice: Rain or no rain, McKenzie had maybe one inning of work left in this one as efficiency continues to elude him. He hasn’t completed six innings since May 17th and hasn’t walked fewer than two batters in a start since May 1st. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:34 pm
    • Kenley Jansen earns second save in two days
Kenley Jansen earned his second save in two days with a scoreless ninth Sunday against the Reds.

Advice: It’s Jansen’s 15th save of the year and No. 435 in his career. Jansen and Chris Martin both pitched for the second straight day today, so unless the Red Sox are willing to go to one of them three days in a row, Justin Slaten might get the ninth in a save situation Monday. • Out of lineup Sunday
Raleigh is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Raleigh will begin Sunday's game in the dugout after going 1-for-8 with one RBI over the first two games of the series. Mitch Garver will start behind home plate and bat seventh against Miami right-hander Kyle Tyler. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:35 am

    • Sitting Sunday
Gonzales isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Gonzales will get a chance to regroup Sunday after going 1-for-17 with five strikeouts over his last five games. In his place, Jared Triolo will get the nod at the keystone and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:58 am

    • Stuck with loss Saturday
Eflin (3-5) took the loss Saturday as the Rays were downed 4-3 by the Pirates, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Pittsburgh stung the right-hander for a run in the first inning and three more in the third, and while Eflin settled in after that, the Tampa Bay offense wasn't able to put together a comeback. Eflin's last quality start came May 7, and in six outings since then, he's stumbled to a 4.86 ERA despite a 1.17 WHIP and 24:2 K:BB in 33.1 innings. He'll look to turn things around in his next start, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:52 am
