      Advice: Estevez had little trouble protecting a two-run, ninth-inning lead, retiring the side in order on 13 pitches. The veteran reliever has turned things around after a rough middle portion of May -- he hasn't allowed a baserunner in seven straight outings, racking up six saves and a win during that span.       Carlos Estévez threw a scoreless ninth with a two-run lead for a save Monday against the Brewers.

      Skenes (4-0) earned the win Monday against the Reds after he allowed one run in six innings. He gave up six hits, walked one and struck out seven.

      Advice: Skenes has been every bit as advertised over his first seven career starts, and he once again showed off an impressive repertoire Monday to get his fourth win. The rookie right-hander has now gone at least six innings in five of his seven starts, and he's reached at least seven strikeouts six times.       O'Neill went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs and a walk in Monday's win over Toronto.

      Advice: O'Neill hit two of Boston's four home runs Monday for his first multi-homer game since April 5. He's up to 14 long balls this season but just six of those have come since the start of May. The slugging outfielder is slashing .258/.354/.534 with 25 RBI through 206 plate appearances.       Tyler O’Neill went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs against the Blue Jays on Monday.

      Advice: O’Neill’s two home runs give him 14 on the season. He took Toronto starter Yusei Kikuchi deep in the first inning and again in the third inning.       Paul Skenes struck out seven and allowed one run over six innings on Monday in a win over the Reds.

      Advice: Skenes got into trouble in the opening frame when he surrendered a run-scoring double to Spencer Steer, but managed to escape the frame without any additional damage, and went on to limit Cincinnati’s lineup to just five baserunners over his final five innings of work. The electrifying 22-year-old rookie induced an eye-popping 18 swinging strikes in this one, including nine on his splinker alone, and finished with a near-elite 34 percent CSW. He’s recorded at least seven strikeouts in six of his first seven starts since arriving in the majors back in mid-May. He’s the real deal. He’ll bring a sparkling 2.29 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 53/7 K/BB ratio across 39 1/3 innings (seven starts) into a favorable matchup on Sunday against the strikeout-prone Rays.       Sanchez (4-3) went seven innings and allowed two runs (one earned) to earn the win Monday against the Padres. He gave up six hits, one walk, and struck out five.

      Advice: Sanchez was impressive Monday against San Diego as he allowed only one extra-base hit. It was the eighth start this season in which he's allowed one earned run or fewer. The lefty matched his season high for innings pitched and lowered his ERA to 2.91 in the process. The 27-year-old is tentatively scheduled to pitch again this weekend versus the Diamondbacks.       Cristopher Sánchez was charged with two runs (one earned) over seven innings on Monday in a win over the Padres.

      Advice: Sánchez limited San Diego to just six hits over seven frames as their lone runs of the contest came on a fifth-inning ground out from Jake Cronenworth and a run-scoring double by Donovan Solano in the seventh inning. He struck out five and only issued one walk, getting plenty of run support from Philadelphia’s offense to cruise to his fourth win of the year.     • Could be available off bench Monday
      Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that Bichette (calf) could be available off the bench for Monday's game against the Red Sox, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

      Advice: Bichette is out of the lineup for the third consecutive game while he works his way back from a right calf injury, but Schneider suggested that the shortstop is trending in the right direction and is scheduled to do "more hitting, baserunning, agility stuff" during a pregame workout. If Bichette responds well to those activities, the Blue Jays could call on him to make a pinch-hitting appearance in Monday's contest. Even if the Blue Jays opt to stay away from Bichette for another day, he would still seem likely to avoid a trip to the injured list and could be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday.
